We Should Let Tukha Off the Hook For 9/11
I think it is time that we let Tukha off the hook for 9/11.
And by “Tukha” I pretty much mean all Muslims. I have noticed that when a Muslim argues a point on xanga, that 9/11 can be thrown in their face at any moment to immediately prove that they are either an extremist or that they have not done enough to denounce extremist. In fact, it appears to me that people often throw out 9/11 because they have nothing else to say.
I was reading a discussion thread where Tukha mentioned that there is never a headline that reads, “Muslim girl lives normally, doesn’t hurt anybody or say anything ridiculous!” Here is the link: Link
Tukha has to now answer for what 19 people did on 9/11. It forms the backdrop for most of her conversations with people in America. If you think about it, 14,000 people were murdered in 2008 in the U.S. Here is the link: Link In the last 10 years, a person was about 45-50 times more likely to be killed by another U.S. citizen than a radical Islamic fundamentalist. But 19 people has colored a whole people group for us.
People might say, “But Muslims cheered at the death on 9/11.” That is true. Americans have never cheered for something unjust.
(Here is a photo of people celebrating when O.J. Simpson received a “not guilty” verdict).
We have the upper hand in the discussion.
But I think we should let Tukha off the hook when it comes to 9/11.

So she wasn’t involved?
Tukha is so sexy. Tukha for world president!
I agree. Let Tukha free!! I mean off the hook lol.
I agree!
Unnecessary post
I agree. But only for Tuhka.
Darn, and here I thought this whole time that she was the mastermind behind it all! Just see that look on her face? You know she has evil thoughts!!! ;P
9/11 thrown in someone’s face is much more pleasant the stone-to-face method our friends like to use from time to time
Notice the “black to white” ratio of satisfied people.
You mean it wasn’t her fault? ;]
I wish such a post were unnecessary. But there are still people in this country who still want to blame all Muslims for their extremists counterparts. All Muslims should have been let off the hook a long time ago. In fact, they shouldn’t have ever been on the hook.
What gets me is when people who throw 9/11 in the faces of innocent Muslims are the same people who don’t want to be blamed for things others in their ethnicity have done, or things others in their religion have done, or things others in their nationality have done….
Do that and I’ll let you off the hook for all the wars on and off Xanga.
My beard has a tinge of red to it. I am going to pre-emptively apologize for being an alcoholic.
Was she even born yet?
Recently I’ve begun to see more vocal Muslims denouncing the extremists in their midst. I believe that will probably do more to change people’s perceptions than anything. Silence can easily be interpreted or misinterpreted as approval, but when Muslims themselves are more publicly active against terrorism, it’s hard to misinterpret their intentions. So much of this is about the perception of images.
hahaha.
Set her freeee!
Lawlz. I’m pretty sure it is the same thing as blaming all white people for burning and hanging black people back in slavery days. I’m not black nor Muslim. But in general, people do things in the name of other things. It happens. A whole group of people shouldn’t be blamed for a few’s mistakes.
LEAVE BRITNEY….err….. ALONE!
GO JUICE!
She’s so cute.
Mais Monsieur! Tukha is a seasoned Muslim extremist who was one of the masterminds behind Faisal’s framing. Don’t forget her picture is on the CIA’s most wanted list as well. On the contrary, we should not forgive Madame Tukha, but report her to the nearest authorities non?
@ShimmerBodyCream - Agreed =]
Anyone who argues that point is an idiot and because they are an idiot, their argument is not valid. If they have an invalid argument, we shouldn’t even be bothering, now should we?
Look ma’, crisis averted!
Awe, Tukha is one of my favorite Xangans. If not my most favorite! <3
“But Muslims cheered at the death on 9/11.”
That’s one of the biggest generalisations EVER. Tukha did not cheer at 9/11, and it is wrong to think that ALL muslims werent upset at 9/11. Tukha explained in a blog that it hurt her bad, because she knew it would turn into an un PC stereotype, and her people were now seen as, well, just terrorists. If thats what you’re trying to say, you haven’t explained it well.
I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree. This goes for a lot of issues IMO. Not all Hispanics in the US are here illegally or are even foreign born. Not all blacks are criminals. Not all whites are vicious racists. Not all Muslims are terrorist extremists. It’s ridiculous to let the bad apples of any group create our only opinion of the whole group. This is why prejudice is idiotic.
@anaraug - oh god, not another one of those
@Lithium98 - love your mexican outfit @Jacques_Duclo - hey crazy, how’s it going today?
@EpsilonCassiopeiae - lawlz in what state is that word actually n the dictionary? LOL…let me guess…South Carolina? @ShimmerBodyCream - yay! president of xanga.
@squeakysoul - yes but stereotyping is so efficient and convenient.
@ShimmerBodyCream - Agreed!
Not her as a person. But the religion is awful on its own, without 9/11 so I don’t need to mention that one at all.
Lol, how can anybody hate on Tukha? She’s a sweetheart…
I love her, we’re going on Tesco dates as soon as I moved to Europe. TUKHA, MARRY MEEEEEEE.
I feel terrible for the “average Muslim” who gets this crap on a regular basis. Again, this makes me think to a post from Aaliyaan.
I have a deep respect for Muslims. For them to be able to hold strong to their faith, after all this – just, wow.
Usually when people attack something like that, they’re trying to gain worth from it, or they are saying something that they know. By not attacking the crux of arguments, they don’t accomplish anything.
I’m actually responsible for 9/11 because I exist in more than one time period and didn’t focus enough in my younger years to develop the skill, so it’s random and the byproduct of Hollywood instead along with some other things.
No, Tukha isn’t responsible for 9/11, and it wasn’t an inside job. If it were, then the jump from it to war would have been a lot more logical rather than appearing convenient or fighting something else.
PFT, it was Hulk Hogan anyway.
NEVER.
;D
@Queen_of_You188 - I was thinking the same thing too…
@And_I_love - since when is lolspeak southern? And if it is, it’s arkansan, tyvm.
@EpsilonCassiopeiae - AK feels like a southern state to me, even if it isn’t…technically. Actually, off the top of my head I can’t remember exactly where AK is situated? Like, upper mid-west…near Utah?
@AnemicRoyalty64 - That pic is one of the greatest things on the intarwebz.
Oh come on, you totally know it was her behind 9/11
I think we should let her live, lol.
wow very insightful post.
I think we can give her a break now and muslims in general. No religion advocates violence. There are bad eggs in all religions, and it is sad that the few bad ones make the rest suffer.
TUKHA U GUYS IS A VERY SMART, CUTE FUNNY GIRL..I MYSELF DONT UNDERSTAND ALOT OF THE MUSLIM FAITH. OR WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN AND WHY I DO KNOW THAT THE TERRORISTS GROUPS KILL PEOPLE HELL THEY EVEN KILL THEIR OWN PEOPLE…BUT YOU KNOW WHAT ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE KILLERS AS WELL..IT’S NOT HER FAULT SHE DIDNT DO NE THING TO ANYONE..BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE..AND SAD AS IT MAY BE..IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN AND BELIEVE GOD WAS READY FOR THOSE PEOPLE TO GO..EVEN IF IT WAS IN A BAD HORRIFIC WAY..THEN SO BE IT.. BUT ITS NOT FAIR FOR US TO BLAME HER SHE DOESNT EVEN LIVE IN THE MIDDLE EAST..ANYWAYS ID LOVE SOME FEEDBACK ON MY COMMENT TO SEE WHAT YALL BELIEVE AS WELL.THANKS DAN FOR POINTING THIS OUT..HEY BY THE WAY HOW MANY ACTUALLY MADE IT TO OUT XANGA MEET UP..I WAS GONNA COME SINCE I ONLY LIVE LIKE 40 MINS AWAY..BUT I HAVE HAD A BAD HEADACHE THE PAST 3 DAYS.. UGHH NE WAYS WRITE BACK KK..TTYL..
Reminds me of THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YOh-rpvjYg
I’ll let her go for 9/11 if she’ll let me go for the crusades?
We should because “she” had nothing to do with it.
Well of course there aren’t headlines like that. Things only make it in the papers if they’re REMARKABLE or DIFFERENT or IMPORTANT.
We don’t need to know that some girl is harmlessly living out her life. That is what MOST people do. We need to know about the exceptions so we can adjust accordingly. Unfortunately some people went to an extreme and attacked the entire group.
I agree we need to let her off of the hook.
Wait, she wasn’t on one of those planes??? Dad gummit… (Walks away mumbling about how i hate to be wrong…)
I really appreciate you for this post, Dan. =)
I love Tukha
She’s so sweet >.<
anyone who hates Tukha is a moron.
The only way Tukha could cause 9/11 is if the extremists held up a picture of her to the captains of the plane. The captains would get so distracted by sheer cuteness that the extremists would have free reign of the planes’ controls.
[Not intended to offend.]
SHE CUTE!
@xnotxbeautifulx - anyone who hates muslims period is a moron. hatred sucks ive felt it on my part for no reason on me. let me tell you its the worst feeling in the world.

@And_I_love - Stalking you with my love!
I’m inclined to agree, on the basis that using an event in history as a means to attempt criticism of an uninvolved individual is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never seen anyone do it but I can definitely believe that it has happened.
Personally, I have never found it difficult to criticize Islam using only the contents of its own dogma. Anyone who has to reach further than that hasn’t done their homework.
I believe that the last couple of lines in your post rhymed. cute!
@Queen_of_You188 - What do you mean?
@acomfortingcolloquy -
what he said
All muslims huh? So that would be inclusive of the millions who condone terrorism in the name of their religion?
using 911 to make a point in any debate besides one discussing 911 or terrorism is crappy debating….but i’ll let muslims off the hook for 911 when i get let off the hook for slavery….
If you guys are talking about those “alleged” pictures of Palestinians dancing on 9/11 that is progeganda. That photo is from the 90s Gulf War when America invaded Iraq.
i agree
When can we all just agree that there are extremists in every group and trying to place all extremists in one group is unbelievably unrealistic and foolish?
I personally never blamed Tukha or any other Muslim for 9/11 and the 15000+ Islamist terrorist attacks that have occurred since then. I think it’s wrong to stereotype any group for the wrongdoing a segment of them commits. However, I have to say that your excusing of Muslims cheering 9/11 because blacks cheered at OJ Simpson’s acquittal is lame. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
much love to tuhka…
@Jeremy_Sheer - I agree :/ hatred is fkdls;fjds horrible. Why can’t everyone love everyone else? Muslims are people! Hatred is just so pointless. :/
“People might say, “But Muslims cheered at the death on 9/11.” That
is true. “
The media made it LOOK like muslim children were cheering after seeing the twin towers crash down. They did this to stir up hatred for ALL muslims. Why? so that going to war in Iraq seemed justifiable, it being a mostly muslim populated country. In reality, the children were given candy, which in turn made them happy, and the camera men captured that footage to air on American news stations. They played us well, didn’t they?
<3
@albaangel - wow. How do you know that?
@Ricardo98 - haha, yeah I was exactly 10 at the time.
I just can’t get over how cute she is.
9/11 was never a crime anyway. It was a political retaliation against a twin-tower full of people sitting in front of two buttons labelled “buy” and “sell”. The result of the daily work done in the Twin Towers was the murder of millions in the third world for American greed. So it wasn’t about Islam, it was a socialist response, whether or not you agree with it. I didn’t agree with the tactic, but I can see it for what it was!
As for Tukha…. is it really HER saying all this, or is it the domestic terrorism of her male partner forcing her to shine a light on a political system (hiding behind a religion) that makes Nazism seem like a charity.
The real crime was not 9/11, but the invasion of Iraq by the US and the UK resulting in the enslavement of 15 million Iraqi women, who under the 4-time Unesco Award-winning Saddam enjoyed equal rights, including university education and even government posts. Bush, Blair, you are the real criminals, the real terrorists and millions of women like Tukha are your victims.
Support equal rights for women now and lobby for the trial of Bush and Blair in the Hague for crimes against humanity!
No Tukha, you are not a terrorist. You are one of millions of victims of both western and Islamic terrorism!
@willnaturist - …I don’t really feel like a victim. And yeah, it’s me saying all I’m saying. I don’t have a male partner, haha. I am Iraqi though, so I understand what you’re saying on that front (regarding the invasion), but that’s about it.
@EpsilonCassiopeiae - if someone was burning and hanging black people in the slavery days, then they were really dumb. black people were their property, and they paid good money for them. you wouldn’t throw your microwave off the roof.
@OhItWontBeForever - I saw a video about it that showed the FULL footage of the children being given candy and the them cheering. It then showed the footage that was actually aired on t.v. stations, which was only the part of the children cheering.
Actually, only a certain segment of the population cheered when OJ was acquitted. And I suspect a good many of them are also Louis Farrkhan / Al Sharpton / Jesse Jackson types who also cheered at 09/11/01.
Deportation.
@willnaturist - And there you have it. Leftover Communists become Islamunists. The anti-Americanism just morphed.
Thousands of gassed Kurdish women could not be reached for comment.
Muslim religion is a very violent religion. You forget about all the killing in the name of allah in the last 20 yrs. Look at all the suicide bombers in Israel, Britain, Spain thru out the world muslims killing others in the name of the child molester mohammad and allah. Rape is justified in the koran so is killing people who choose to not believe. I choose not to follow a sick perverted child molester
One of your best posts, Dan.
@catman517 - Have you ever actually read the Koran, or do you just believe everything Fox News spews out?
@sarahb_86 - to answer your question…….. yes
Allah himself fights against the unbelievers (9:30), so why should Muslims not fight in his cause rather than in the cause of evil (4:76)? About 19% of the Qur’an is devoted to the violent conquest and subjugation of non-Muslims:
Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of Allah and your enemies and others besides, whom ye may not know (8:60)
Strive hard (Jihad) against the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge indeed. (66:9, See also 9:73)
Muslims are to expect a reward in this life as well as the next (4:134), so it makes sense that unbelievers should be punished in this life as well:
…He whom Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no guide. For them is a penalty in the life of this world, but harder, truly, is the penalty of the Hereafter… (13:33:34)
Remember that the Qur’an says that not all men are equal in Islam. This also applies to Muslims themselves with regard to their aggressiveness toward unbelievers. Those who kill or are killed on behalf of Islam are more pleasing to Allah:
Not equal are those of the believers who sit at home… and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and lives” (4:95)
Buddhists in Thailand, Jews in Israel, Christians in Indonesia, Hindus in India… Why is Islam at war with every major world religion, when none of these religions are at war with each other? Part of the reason is that the Qur’an is specific about the inferiority of other faiths (see 48:28) and the hatred that Allah harbors for their people.
Although it is common for Muslims to become upset about anyone “insulting” their religion, here is what the Qur’an says about Jews and Christians:
The Jews call Ezra a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30) (See also Bukhari 8:427), one of the last things Muhammad ever said on his deathbed was “May Allah curse the Jews and Christians.”)
That “Juice” Simpson got off for a crime in a travesty of justice is a well recognized event. At least he’s paid for it since, although he escaped a direct criminal conviction. That does not, however, exculpate the mass murder of Americans by fanatic Islamists. Nor does it mitigate the fact that such persons as this lady do not denounce those who commit such acts in the name of her religion.
