I love the second picture. As a former tennis player, I can say this – Tennis outfits need to have a lot of room because you are moving around a lot on that court. Her skirt is always going to flap up like that. If you make it longer, then she doesn’t have the room she needs. So, no the outfit isn’t that racy at all. But I do think she needs to re-think her choice of bloomers. I honestly couldn’t tell she was wearing any. -_-

Yeah, I’d say it’s inappropriate for a sport. Not necessarily the cut of it, but the embellishments were obviously meant to be sexy. Not like empowering sexy, but overtly sexy.

haha, if you look closely you can tell she is actually wearing something, it’s not her real bare butt, not that it makes much of a difference. I think it’s fine. it bothers me a lot though that people make comments about her looking “manly.” No, actually she looks like a WOMAN, just an athletic one. it’s degrading really to say that she’s “ugly” just because she might not be stereotypically feminine. I personally despise tennis players who try to make a runway out of the tennis court. I played for my college tennis team for a long time and I have to tell you, a good top and a pair of decent skorts really can do the job. I love Venus’ tennis, she is a great tennis player, but this outfit and its effect -totally not appropriate for tennis. But that is just my humble opinion.

As a tennis player, your skirt is going to come up during overheards and serves. It’s a fact of life, but most players don’t have someone taking a picture when our skirt is up. I do however think she should have chosen a different color. She has been known for a while as having really short outfits. It’s what she does and not inappropriate at all (in my opinion). The only thing is, those outfits then become available in the stores for regular people to buy. It doesn’t look very functional to me…too fluffy on the bottom and definitely too revealing up top
But if she wants to wear it, more power to her!
I think the real question is why should would wear something so ugly. Plus, it’s black – not a very practical color for the court.
