  • Wet T-Shirt At Water Park

A woman is suing a city because she was arrested partially because she had a wet t-shirt at a water park.

Parents found the woman’s wet bra and t-shirt offensive.  A police officer asked about her name and she refused to give her name so she was arrested.  Here is the link:  Link

Should a woman be arrested if she has a wet bra and t-shirt at a water park?

  • LOL I am not offended. :P

  • Hell no! Titties should always be adored!

  • Jesus, no. This country has too many restrictions and issues… uptight sons of bitches.

  • Hell.  No.

  • it’s a water park, obviously she’s going to get wet. and as long as she has a t-shirt and bra ON the parents need to stop being so up-tight.

  • Its a water park…
I mean, there are bound to be wet tees and bras…
    duh.

  • lol…it is a water park? *shakes head*

  • …I had no idea this was even a crime. Wow.

  • The fathers enjoyed it, the mothers were jealous.

  • Lets see, a water park usually has hot chicks in very revealing bikinis, yet wet t-shirts are banned.  That makes total sense.  While were at it, we should ban wet jeans while old dudes walk around in Speedos.

  • ummmmm..isn’t that like wearing a bathing suit? i mean, unless the tee shirt was white and the bra was see through..then i could see a problem.

hell our water parks won’t let fatties like me even WEAR tee shirts or shorts on the ride. they like bathing suits on girls and swim shorts on boys.

  • oh what bull.. I have a wet t-shirt when I go to the waterpark…

now if she was bra-less.. I could see a problem… but her titties were covered. let the woman be!

  • No, but I don’t know why she wouldn’t give her name to the cop. If you don’t cooperate with the police, they arrest you. I thought that was common knowledge.

  • No that’s ridiculous!

  • Would that picture be of Hershey Park? Just curious.

But no, if I can go to a water-park and see overweight women in bikinis LITERALLY falling out of their tops, then I think a wet t-shirt is fine and dandy.

  • That’s a load of B.S.

  • It’s a water park. There’s water. People get wet. People wear t shirts. Hmmmmmmm…….. I don’t get it.

  • The article says it was her “third offense.” Sounds like she’s a serial troublemaker and the wet tee-shirt was just an excuse to remove her from the park.

  • Anyone going to a water park should be expecting bikini tops and wet shirts, so I’m sure there is more to the story. Maybe she was wearing a sheer bra. She probably got arrested for being a public disturbance or something.

  • Somehow I doubt we’re getting the whole story here.

  • Let’s read the article. It says this was her 3rd offense, and she was obviously being belligerent towards the police. I’m going to assume that they took her away because she would not co-operate, which is totally okay.

  • Not sure what the full story is, but it sounds like it wasn’t just her outfit.

  • Only on a cloudy day….a sunny day she will be able to dry out!!!

  • yes it is the rules deal with it and just obey the rules and kids dont need to see boobs anyway

  • I tend to believe that she was not arrested for the wet tshirt, but for her failure to give her information when asked by the officers.

  • it’s a water park…. people walk around in just bikini tops… what’s the big deal?

  • Because of where she was at, Nah.  How dumb.

  • then why don’t they arrest girls in bikinis? that’s like a bra and underwear, but without the t-shirt. my point is that it makes no sense to arrest a woman for having a wet t-shirt.

  • Stupid.  I work at an amusement park on a beach and see people in wet shirts and bras all the time.  Hell I saw a guy in a speedo thong the other day and he didn’t even get a second glance from officers.  Talk about odd and kinda gross lol

  • The article said she was arrested because she didn’t give her name. lol

  • awesome PR for the water park – they may win the award “Most Retadred Leisure Park of the Year” because of this.

  • You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me!

  • I work at a water park and a lot of people go swimming in their regular clothes, so no I don’t think it’s right.
HOWEVER, we do not allow people to swim in their underwear, so I think if an officer approached the woman and she was in her underwear, which can be considered indecent exposure, I think, and she refused to give her name, isn’t that like resisting arrest?

  • Maybe, I should take my 97 year old MIL there and see if she will get arrested.

  • With all the water parks in my town, I’ve seen it all especially women who go European.

  • it’s a water park…it happens.

  • Fuck the idiot who called the cops and FUCK THE POLICE!

  • So what if she was just walking around in the rain on day? Could she have been arrested for that also?

  • My question is: She had a hard time giving her name to the cops, why?
Yeah, I’m thinking there is more to the this then…um… what meets the eye… LOL

  • it’s almost the same as wearing a bikini.  who cares.

  • Absolutely.  That’s such slutty behaviour.  I mean, c’mon…you shouldn’t be able to see anything from ankles to throat and when you’re at a waterpark you must remain dry at all times.

  • What do they expect at a waterpark exactly?
However i agree that, it seems like there are other reasons why she was arrested. However she had a reason to ‘belligerent’ since having a wet t-shirt at a WATER PARK shouldnt be against any rules.

  • sounds like she was arrested for not complying with an officer.  That doesn’t break any exhibition laws (well, not where I live at least; idk about her area) but that’s just like wearing a bathing suit.  She was probably more covered up than half the people there.

  • Stupid people always make things harder then they have to be.  Oh well, at least the rest of us can laugh at them

  • Science has proved that sugar melts in water,so plz don`t walk in the rain,
otherwise I may lose a sweet friend like u!!!

  • I think there are rules at waterparks that say that if you are going to be in the water, you have to wear proper swimming attire. Proper swimming attire is not a T-shirt and bra… Especially if that shirt happens to become transparent.

  • This whole fiasco is happening just to get attention of the media. Park is probably low on cash and low on attendance and they want people to come.

The woman arrested is a mother, she was there with her son. In a water park. She got wet.
    ?????????
Something like this could never happen in Croatia. People dont get sued because their coffee was too hot.

  • that’s probably not the full story.

  • Hmmm… Should she be arrested for a wet t-shirt a ta waterpark, where presumably people pay to get wet? No, that is just plain silly. But there seems to be a lot to this story that we don’t know ( and it sounds like her arrest may have had to do with past offenses, rather than a wet t-shirt. ) … I am reserving judgment until more details are available.

  • As saintvi and raiderjester pointed out, this is the woman’s third offense.  She’s also not giving out her name, so she’s not cooperating.  I think the question shouldn’t be whether or not this woman should be thrown out, but it should ask what she’s been doing to get the attention of the police in the first place.  I’ll have to agree with yakko1 that it’s probably not about her outfit.  Many who’ve pointed out with life experience or knowledge of water parks in general that there are people who wear T-shirts, which sometimes become see-through when wet.  That’s common knowledge, and police officers could arrest anyone who puts on a shirt over a bikini if it becomes wet if this were true.

Apparently, it’s okay if there’s no shirt.  Bikinis are nothing more than bras and panties.  I guess it’s worse for men since they’re shirtless altogether.

  • @raiderjester - agreed.  prettymuch what I was gonna say.  She attracted attention to some people who were offended but she didn’t co-operate, that was probably the reason for the arrest.

  • Sounds like she wasn’t arrested for the clothing but for her attitude with police.

  • If you read the article it says she was arrested for refusing to tell the cops her name and that this was her 3rd offense at the water park.  I would guess that it wasn’t a typical bra or that the t-shirt was purposefully tight and/or transparent.  There’s tons of women in bathing suits and wet shirts walking around water parks, so I would suppose that this woman was doing something to make herself stand out.

  • She was at a waterpark for gooness sakes!!  What is wrong with people?  Cant we be thankful she at least had on a bra?

And Im really dissapointed there’s no pic! :D

  • !
    there is a “web//site”  named  “-["b l  a c k w h i t e s
    i n g l  e     .(Co.oM)"]“  for  interracial  dating   or  relationship, singles  can go
there to find  someone  sexy  or  beauty   online !!!Interracial dateing
or relationship  is not a problem there,  but a great merit to
cherish! You are guaranteed to be your r the one of them

  • Something’s missing…I think perhaps she might have been more belligerant than just refusing to provide her name, especially since it was her 3rd offense.  However, with that being said, if some overprotective mom at a water park complained that my wet t-shirt was offending her poor sweet children, I would probably tell her to get over herself.  If people can wear bikinis consisting of 2-inch triangles of fabric held together by strings, then a wet t-shirt should not be an issue.

  • After reading the article it seems she was arrested for being uncooperative, not for having a wet t-shirt. Someone should definitely not be arrested for having a wet t-shirt and bra at a water park, however it should be up to the park who they allow in. I think this woman is looking for an excuse and thinks she’ll get a quick payment out of this.

  • whats the difference between a bra and bikini top underneath a wet t-shirt? absolutely nothing, except one you can apprently get arrested for. that’s ridiculous!

  • even if topless she shouldn’t be arrested. How about arresting a real criminal, like a BP safety rep for example.

  • @randomneuralfirings - I totally agree..it sounds like someone just wanted to cause some controversy with the story…and lo’ and behold…here it is. lol

  • We get this a lot at the waterpark I work at. The woman may have been argumentative with staff members and they had to call the cops. So many things can happen. All waterparks have these rules in for a health code and they expect guests to obey them…by wearing a swim suit.

I especially love the parents that bring their kids in suits but then do not wear them.

  • Uhmm BFD! She had a shirt on, so what’s the big deal? She could’ve worn a bra out in public if it wasn’t exposing her nips because a bra is exactly like a bikini top. Arresting her for not giving her name when they handcuffed her for nothing is bull. That’ll get thrown out so fast because it’s a violation of her rights. First off, she wasn’t doing anything illegal. The water park could have kicked her out because it was a violation of their policy or something, but for the city to get involved is crap. Just because some people are jealous of a voluptuous woman’s gifts, doesn’t mean they should get arrested. Shit, if people got arrested every time too much cleavage was shown or something to do with breasts.. I would be in prison. I’m gifted in the chest region, so if I went there with a bikini top would I be arrested because my boobs are huge? Seriously? At least that lady wore a t-shirt over her bra. She could’ve had those puppies swinging free with pasties over her nips!

America, home of the free. -BULLSHIT. If we can’t wear clothing like that in public, no one is free.

  • if ur at a water park, ur gona get wet. deal with it

  • Hmm, considering it says this was her 3rd offense I think that this was just an excuse. I mean, why would they arrest someone for a wet t-shirt and showing their bra? But why she wouldn’t give the police her name is strange…she should have tried to get out of it. :)

    -Co

  • Could it be because she is from Peru and didn’t speak perfect english? And then handcuffed and kept in jail on a $1500 bond? $1500? Major criminal here! For getting her t-shirt wet with a PADDED bra underneath. And she was arrested in the parking lot while she had a towel wrapped around her. The officer needed her name to put into a police “database”. What kind of “database”? Suspected illegal aliens? BTW- not that it matters but I saw her picture on AOL and she is not a bad looking woman.

  • the cop has nothing better to do? it’s like telling people not to get loud at a rock concert

  • What’s the difference between a bra and a bikini top? Honestly. She had a bra and a t-shirt on, which is more clothes than a lot of people these days. Unless her boobs were hanging out, then nope. Did she have pants on? You never mentioned those :P

  • No, you see, Mr. Officer probably (100%) arrested her because he couldn’t get her name, aka, her number. : P

Other than that, it wouldn’t make sense, the t-shirt and it being wet.

  • It’s a water park. A lot of people were probably wearing less than a wet t-shirt and bra.

  • The story seems to be sparing a lot of details… but in general, I don’t think this should have been an issue. How is a wet t-shirt and bra more offensive than someone strolling around in a bikini? Seriously. I’m sure she was more covered than 90% of the people there. My guess is, she must have been causing more of a disturbance than just what she was wearing.

  • Swimsuits are just like bras except different material and they aren’t nearly as supportive. If anything, a lot of bras cover up more than most bikini tops….

    This is ridiculous.

  • so if she wasnt wearing the t shirt it would have been okay?

  • The water park said it was her 3rd offense.  So what’s the rest of the story?  I doubt the water park was upset for no reason.

  • Yeah, I don’t see anything wrong with arresting the damn hussy.

  • I’ve seen bikinis that are more revealing than a wet t-shirt & bra.

  • No for a wet tshirt and bra, but perhaps for refusing to cooperate with a police officer.

  • Yeah, if she was ugly.

  • @raiderjester - True. I saw that last part myself..and I’m going to agree with you.

  • hmmm probably something more to the story, than just her being wet… but it sounds stupid…

  • I think she only got arrested bc she refused to give officer her name.

  • @kinamorata - haha “the fathers enjoyed it, the mothers were jealous”…..lol. C’mon its a water park. The fact that she had a shirt and bra ON is enough….she’s bound to get wet in a water park.

  • No…but she should of given the cop her name.

  • The link article says she was arrested for having a wet t-shirt, but the article the link article references, from the Orlando Sentinal, says she was arrested for obstructing a police officer because she refused to give the police her name. They will arrest you for not providing your name. Also, the Sentinal said prosecutors did not file charges, which is why she probably turned around with the countersuit.

  • no girl should be alowed to wear what ever we want see trough or not :)

  • Theologian Dan basically just finds the most controversial fark headline, turns it into a question and wallah page views. Bullshit if you ask me. There is no real content here whatsoever.

  • No. Idiots. What did they expect? It’s a water park. People get wet.

  • It depends on the particular clothing. Like someone said, if the tee was white and the bra some sort of filmy, see-through material, it makes sense.

Plus a waterpark can make up whatever rules they want, no matter how ridiculous. If a guest goes and chooses to disobey the rules, they get in trouble.

  • @Born261YearsTooLate - AHA. There we go. T-shirt was inconsequential. The police asked for a name and she refused. Obstruction of justice- that’s what she gets.

  • She wasn’t arrested because she wore that, she was arrested because she refused to give an officer her name. The officer was in his/her rights to arrest the woman. Also, at a water park it’s appropriate to wear a bathing suit top, not a bra and shirt. The least she could have done was put a bikini top under it – bras aren’t really appropriate unless she was wearing the full coverage kind (which nobody does anymore. Half of her boob was probably showing).

  • No. that is what i do at waterparks.

  • I never understood why bikinis are acceptable, but bras and panties are not. There are some bathing suits that show more than underwear. Not something I’d do, but just something I always wondered.

  • it doesn’t make sense….it actually says “the park said it was her third offense.” why would the park say it was her third offense if it had anything to do with anything else…..
and it really doesn’t make sense that people would be offended by someone  getting wet at a waterpark even if it’s just their shirt and bra when women wear less when it’s their bikini.
I mean c’mon what the heck are people thinking these days??????
a bra and bikini top look the freaking same!!!!!

  • I think it would be different if she only had a t-shirt and no bra… but obviously she was wearing clothing underneath and come on… she was in a water park… you’re bound to get wet. And besides, why would the cops need her name… some people are stupid! Some parents are stupid too, you’re taking your kids to a water park, they’re going to be ladies in bathing suits with pretty much… underwear and a bra… and they found a wet t-shirt offensive? Those people shouldn’t even be allowed to go…

  • I wouldn’t say arrested…but thrown out. It’s a WATER park. As in, you should be wearing a bathing suit. Not trolling for strange in a bra and wet t-shirt.

  • An arrest is  absurd, so long as she was acting rational with the police. If it was exceptionally see-through telling her to leave, change, or face a citation involving a fine would be appropriate. How she reacted would determine the next escalating course of action.

  • I don’t think so. Is a wet bathing suit top anything different than a wet bra? Unless it was see-through, I don’t get it.
