As I mentioned yesterday, a young man committed suicide after two people secretly tapped him having sex with another guy and then streamed it over the Internet.

There has been much discussion about gay bullying in the last 24 hours in the news.

I read a quote from a student from his school that said, “Had he been in bed with a woman, this would not have happened.  He wouldn’t have been outed via an online broadcast, and his privacy would have been respected and he might still have his life.”  Here is the link:  Link

Others are suggesting than gay bullying is out of control.  Now I think of blacks and the slavery issue (sorry about making you slaves).  I think of Hispanics always being treated as if they are illegal.  I think about endless Christian persecution on the Internet.

Are gay people picked on more than other people?

A guy committed suicide after his classmate streamed a video of him having sexual relations online.

His two classmates used a hidden camera to capture him on video having sexual relationships with another guy.  He was so embarrassed that he jumped to his death.

It has been suggested that we should include men in the Save the Boobs campaign.

So bowing to the pressure of women across xanga, I have decided to add a guy section to Save the Boobs.

So I went out and asked a few guys if they would be involved.  I asked Cakalusa (which turned out to be my second gay sounding conversation with him).

I also asked amateurprose which was my first gay sounding conversation with him.  (Telling him his eyes look pretty did not count.  It was an observation).

It is always sort of funny that the people on xanga think they are smarter than average. 

Consistently, we will say we are smarter than our friends and associates.  We will describe ourselves as smarter than average.

But what is funny is that such a high number think they are smarter than everyone else.  It is always like 80-90%.  It either means everyone is smarter than average or we have an elevated view of our intelligence.

I was talking to a friend on xanga and she mentioned she would prefer to live her life alone.  And by alone I mean without a husband.

In fact, she wants to actually have kids but she does not want to have a husband around.

I am not sure I was ever cut out to be alone much less raise kids by myself.

It is funny how some people can walk into a room with 1000 people in it and just start meeting people.  Or they could walk into a new classroom at a college and immediately mix it up with people.
