Black Friday
I think I have only been shopping on Black Friday two times in my life.
The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year. My wife gets up super early to shop on that day.
Do you plan to shop on Black Friday?

No. I have to work on Black Friday. Thank God I chose the 6 to 11 at night shift.
I’m so going this year! I usually don’t go so early. The bf and I usually go during the day using my mom’s handicap so we can park close. We end up walking away with some good stuff despite not going so early. But this year I’m going early with Angela.
No. I usually buy my christmas gifts online.
Nope. Slept outside Best Buy last year. Froze my ass off. My toes turned purple-ish blue. Never again.
You couldn’t pay me to shop on Black Friday. I’ve been there, done that, and don’t want to do it again.
I do, however I may settle for just buying everything online.
I have never been and never will go. The main reason is that I panic in large crowds like the ones that black friday brings. The other reason is that I am SO not a morning person, especially not that early!

I don’t plan on risking my life in stampedes simply for a nice deal on a TV or expensive item! It’s not like I have the money to buy much of anything now anyway….. haha so no! I never have been, and I plan on keeping it that way.
i have scoured the web for the best deal on TVs. I have learned SO MUCH about plasma, LED & LCD tvs…. 1080p & 720p. Geez! I might be in line at midnight on Thursday, wherever the best deal is! this will be my 1st time doing this, but i figure as long as I have blankets, cards & company I’m good to go!

i woke up at 4 AM two thanksgivings ago and went shopping with some friends. It was terible haha -.- they wanted to go the outlets, and I hate outlets. Inever really find anything great there and the prices are high, contrary to what a lot of people say. The mall was wayyy to crowded, and the stres smelled strongly of BO. This year, as @Roadlesstaken - said, I might just do it online as well! Probably buy a computer. I don’t feel like waiting in line to get a ticket at my best buy t get in ><
i went apparently… but didn’t know it was special… just thought companies were doing predatory price gouging.
Yes…I need more cookware. My dorm has a very limited amount of communal stuff and no dining hall, so I cook all the time. I also need socks, lol. I might go get Christmas presents, if I feel like it.

I have to work but even if I didn’t, I wouldn’t go. I find that getting up early to buy crap is just a stupid reason to miss out on sleep, and a comfy, warm bed.

I did it only once. I have no patience with the throngs of people nor the idiot drivers I encounter. But I have to work on this event day this year. I’m actually the one in charge of crowd control.

I usually do. I love it, but that’s because I’m not psychotic about it. I sip my hot chocolate while I watch everyone else go crazy. It’s fun.

Nope! I actually work on Black Friday. Not only that, I went once in my life and didn’t find it worth it.
It’s not the biggest shopping day of the year. More things are bought on the day before and after Thanksgiving. Sales get better as Christmas gets closer but that’s something retail will never tell you because everyone believes Black Friday is THE DAY for sales.
It drives me insane. I’ve spent three years in retail working on Black Friday and every year I say it’s my last year but I get sucked back into it. It’s not that big of a deal.

Hell, no. I worked retail last Black Friday. It was worst than Christmas, Christmas Eve, and the premiere of Twilight all in one. I will never step foot in a shop on Black Friday again, not unless they’re handing free money to everyone who walks through the door. Even then I’d take the money and run.

I am not. There is nothing I really need that can’t wait. I had to work on the holidays before and I didn’t like it. Unfortunately, my poor bf is working as he will be gone from 4:30 in the morning to the 12 am. I am going to miss him =( I’m buying nearly everything online.

I can’t even stand Christmas shopping crowds, let alone Boxing Day or Black Friday crowds. I’m not even American so we don’t have Black Friday, but if we did I would avoid it completely.

I live in Canada, but can see the US from our rooftop so Black Friday shopping is an easy option. The mayhem and chaos on that day is reflective of a world I don’t especially care for, so I stay as far away as possible!

I’m surprised you don’t go with your wife. My dad doesn’t enjoy it, but he goes with my mom because it’s dangerous. People go crazy on black friday. Seriously… In Delaware people have been trampled to death trying to get in stores, and my parents see fist fights all the time, it’s like that everywhere though. I’m surprised you aren’t worried about your wife’s safety.
