  • Happy Steal Land From the Indians Day

Today we take the time to celebrate the fact that the Indians were so naive to trust the white man.

I wonder if one day the Mexicans will have a day set aside to celebrate taking over the land.

Today we went to the park and we are going over to the in-law’s house later.  We are probably also going to see a movie tonight.

Here are the movies that are currently playing:

    1. Burlesque

    2. Due Date

    3. Faster

    4. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

    5. Love and Other Drugs

    6. Megamind

    7. Morning Glory  (I already watched this movie.  It was pretty good).

    8. The Next Three Days  (I watched this movie too and it was alright).

    9. Red

    10. Secretariat

    11. Skyline

    12. Tangled

    13. Unstoppable

    Which movie would you see?

  • Jail Time For Being Pregnant

A woman was given jail time for getting pregnant.

The woman was on work release from jail.  One of the rules of her work release was that she was not allowed to get pregnant.  She got pregnant and so they sent her off to prison.  She ended up dying in jail.  Here is the link:  Link

Is it fair to send the woman to jail because she got pregnant?

  • Sometimes Life Sucks

We are going to be reading so many posts over the next few days where people tell what they are thankful for and ask their friends what they are thankful for.

So once again, we want to go in the opposite direction.

What sort of sucks in your life right now?

  • Sarah Palin Vs. President Obama

Recently in an interview, Sarah Palin indicated she thought she could beat President Obama in the next election.  Here is the link:  Link

Do you think Sarah can beat President Obama?

  • Black Friday

I think I have only been shopping on Black Friday two times in my life.

The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year.  My wife gets up super early to shop on that day.

Do you plan to shop on Black Friday?

  • Bristol Palin

I feel so sorry for Bristol Palin.  She is the daughter of Sarah Palin.  She is also on the show Dancing with the Stars.

    bristol

She is doing pretty well on Dancing with the Stars and is getting a great deal of the popular vote.  This has cause some liberals to go nuts.  She is being bashed like crazy and people accuse her of cheating.  They say it is unfair she is winning.  It is a popularity contest and she is beating out people that are pretty well known.

She is also receiving death threats now.  Here is the link:  Link

The poor girl got pregnant and made national news when her mom became a vice-presidential candidate.  She made a mistake and she became a punchline nationally.  So she went on a show and she is being nice and friendly and the left is going nuts.

Do you think it is unfair if Bristol wins Dancing with the Stars?

  • Who Would You Rather Be Raped By?

About 3-4 years ago I wrote a post where I asked the question “Would you rather be raped by an close acquaintance or a stranger?”

A bunch of people were angry at the time and there were a few people saying they were unsubscribing because I asked the question.

I never had the opportunity to explain so I wanted to give the backdrop for the question.  I had just talked to a woman and she was raped by her father years earlier.  She was just talking and she mentioned she would have rather been raped by a complete stranger than her dad.  She said it was painful because she always had to look at her dad.

Would you rather be raped by a close acquaintance or a stranger?

  • Abort or Not

A couple is trying to decide whether they should abort their unborn baby or not.  So they had put it to an online vote.

The woman is 17 weeks pregnant.  She has miscarried 3 times so she does not know if she is emotionally ready to have a baby.  Here is the link:  Link

Should the couple have an abortion?
