You have your body types wrong. Number 6 is average, 7 (8) is curvy, and 5 is not thick. For the men, obese was a huge fat man with a giant stomach, and the last woman here is not the same.

By the way… the added note about the BMI charts… that’s a crock of shit. There are many cultures and ethnicities that have larger women and embrace that body type. I also remember a post done by SerenaDante a while back, saying that heavier women have been more embraced throughout history. It wasn’t until the corset came along in the 1700s that people craved being super thin.

Obviously this post is not about the pics you chose but you really need to re-evaluate your definition of average/chubby/thick. Your pic you have for the average girl is actually a VS model lol… Anyways, I think the male ideal would be average-thick. Most guys supposedly chose a size 10 girl over a size 0 in some weird poll. I’d choose thin/toned which is what I’m going for.
I think this is just the way women see themselves. Like, the “average” girl probably just thinks she’s average when in reality she’s thin. And the “thick” girl thinks she’s thick when she’s average. The “obese” girl thinks she’s obese when she’s just chubby/fat. Amiright?

Call me stupid, but I don’t see anything wrong with your labels. Just because most women do not look like the “average woman” mean that that isn’t average. I’ve always seen average as to what most women should aspire to look like when they decide to make a diet change. Average, as in good health, a healthy BMI. If the average person was obese, would we label differently? No, because the labels are determined by our BMI and health.
The thick girl is just curvy, and I think that’s hot.

so you want people to tell you that having an obese bmi is very attractive, and really not obese at all, and that people should find chubby / “average” women sexy, instead of the stereotype of finding women who are thin or have a healthy bmi. Kind of like the “real women have curves” nonsense. Women don’t have to look like models to be attractive, nor do they have to be obese or even overweight. The women you have categorized as thin and muscular and even toned are definitely below what is considered ideal bmi for women, but many female athletes are, but in a perfectly healthy way. but whatever, good luck fishing for reassurance for all those overweight, high fat percentage women who can think, at least people find them attractive, even if their health is poor.

I think this post is trying to show women the way other women view them…. the guys I know, and especially my husband, do NOT like ultra skinny girls. My husband would puke at 1– he would much sooner tell me I’m too thin than overweight. The girl you call “thick” would be voted most attractive by my guy- hands down. For example, he thinks Mariah Carey is gorgeous and Victoria Beckham looks like a starved 12 year old. If a big bust makes a girl “thick” or “chubby”, then most guys like thick girls.

In defense of the muscular girl. I was at a seminar where I met a Canadian body builder. There were five of us at our table and she looked as normal as any woman in the room. She showed us pictures from one of her competitions and wow, what a difference. Like the male body builders, these women pump-up for pictures. That’s why you get a photo like the one here. They don’t walk around looking like that. In normal life they don’t walk around pumped up. It’s just when they compete.

Especially the chubby one… she’s not chubby, she just had boobs the men drool over, because no plastic surgeon could ever make boobs like that, they’re boobs that only god could make. I’m a little offended that the thick and chubby are both focusing on their breasts instead of their actual bodies. Actually, average and thick look the same, just the thick is focused more on her breasts and the average is focused on the whole body.
You can tell by her collar bone, that the “chubby” girl is just an average woman that’s stacked like a game of Jenga. Try again mate.

I thought I was average but I look nothing like Marissa Miller. Either I need to re-evaluate my body or you need to post accurate pictures depicting what an average or thick person actually looks like.
