Of course an ideal body/face comes with the imagined personality, but I generally forget about it.
Firemen and cops are generally good-looking (because of their very structured uniforms, and the always-alert-and-ready-for-action posture), but I tend to fall for/dream of corporate types and musicians/geeks.

My kindergarten class went on a field trip to the Pearl Harbor Fire Station and apparently I loved it so much that I told the firemen, “I’m going to marry a fireman when I grow up.” They thought I was the cutest thing.
When I read that line about women fantasizing about firemen, I had to weigh in. I don’t fantasize about firemen, policemen, military men, or any other broad category. I like my electrician husband quite a bit. He’s dang sexy.

haha… now that you mention it. firefighting has a superhero aspect to it, maybe that’s why we girls fantasize about it… kind of like the knight in shining armor fantasy. i see a lot of military men comments on here too.. it seems like what girls really fantasize about is guys being the defenders/protectors.

Lets face it, most firefighters aren’t even that sexy. I go to a school where they have men who take a course to be a certified firefighter; and last year all the first year girls were excited, until they seen the group. Each group that came (and there’s like 3-4 groups a year) were not even that attractive. Thus making women’s fantasys just that, a fantasy.

I actually never even think about firemen. I’ve never thought about the hubby dressing up as one either. When I think of firemen, I think of Chuck and Larry now.

Oh, yes. My husband is a volunteer firefighter. He just spent five hours fighting a fire last night, and got only three hours of sleep in the last 24. I never had a thing about firefighters before he became one, so I was kinda surprised to hear how women hit on guys in firefighting gear, or just by a license plate or T-shirt saying that they are one.
