I was just looking at the photos of a site that showed extreme body piercings.

I must admit. I have never been pierced. I am sort of a wimp though.

11 in my ears, 4 in my nose, 3 in my lip.
I got six holes in my ears at one point… I have let four out of six close. I don’t understand people who would get those kinds of piercings, except to wonder the following: is getting those things an addiction? Do they get a rush out of the experience / the pain? Do they enjoy mutilation? What does all of it mean for THEM? I find it … bizarrely fascinating.
Four in my ears — two for each earlobe — and one in my left nostril. I’ve considered getting a cartilage piercing in my ear as well.
This made me fucking sick.
@Passionflwr86 - I’d imagine it’s sort of like the thing where if you get one tattoo you’re suddenly itching to get more. I had the same type of thing happen to me when I got my nose done — for half a second I thought about getting an eyebrow piercing.
Twice. My ears when I was in 7th grade. Then they got infected all the time and I let them close. Then when I was 19 I decided I wanted them pierced again and got them redone. Didn’t get infected at all this time
And does that guy have CHEEK plugs? That is NASTY. I’m sorry to all your hipster/emo/scenester plug lovers, but plugs are GROSS. They smell and they look like shit. I can’t even imagine how bad those cheek plugs must be when he takes them out -shudders-

I have seven piercings, but they aren’t like OH MY GOD in your face kinda piercings. Just my ears, eyebrow, and tongue.
My father told me that if the Lord meant me to have holes in my ears he would have put them there. Well maybe but it has been a long time since Adam and Eve and if I remember correctly at first he didn’t give them clothes either. I think my dad would have approved however if I had got it done while he was still with us. I have one tiny hole in each ear lobe in order that I might wear tiny studs. I think jewelry is like anything else I do…enhance…not make a statement. The pictures above make me sick to my stomach, and sometime later in life I think for the most part they will want to rid themselves of the adornments, I hope cosmetic surgery will have advanced enough to help them look normal when they do.
I have 3 holes in each ear, 2 sets were done twice. I have my belly button pierced, which has been done 3 times and used to have my nips done.

omfg… wow… I pierced my ears countless times… but once had 13-14 piercings in my ears. After that number I I had my son and had to take some off… but before those… I use to pierce let them close and redo… my nose twice… I’ve pierced my nails and those oddly hurt… dont’ ask me why. Almost did my tongue but the people at the parlor didn’t let me… whatever…

Left ear: 3 lobe, 2 cartilage. Right ear: 2 lobe. Tongue & navel (both of which I’ve since let close, since I outgrew that phase of my life), bringing it to a grand total of 9 piercings, two of which have healed shut.

I think that’s it… I may have missed something. *_*I currently only have 1 genital piercing, my sternum (which is normally hidden), and uh, 5 in the ears. LOLI mostly got pierced because, well, I liked it. But I got bored with things quickly and took ‘em out often.

None – and I’m an almost 20 year-old female. Whenever I almost get the guts to get my ears pierced I research it and find out that you could get HIV or something. Plus I saw a guy (my aunt & uncle’s exchange student) get a piercing and the girl messed up and it started bleeding.
If I do get my ears pierced it’s going to be a professional piercing. I refuse to get it done at a mall.

I love all my piercings, seriously, and I would love to get more. The feeling you get from having a new piercing is amazing! But, sadly, I feel I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t even want anything else done =( Guess I’ll have to stick to tattoos for now!

I have my ears pierced once, plus a cartilage piercing in my right ear. And don’t get me wrong, I’m all for expressing yourself and piercing/tattooing whatever the hell you want, but seriously? Those are not…hell. How would you ever take those out? You don’t have an option of taking those out, unless you want surgery. Soo. Whatever, I guess.

I’ve only got two: one in each ear, done when I was a baby. My mamaw wasted her time, though. I can’t wear any sort of piercing. Doesn’t matter what it’s made of, my ears get horribly infected within 30 minutes. I’d hate to see what would happen if I tried to wear piercings elsewhere.

Those photos are of body “mutilation” because they go out of the realm of body piercing and even extreme body piercing, imo.
I know I’ll probably get “shit” for this comment, but I think once you go beyond the “widely culturally accepted” descreet piercings, like ears, belly buttons, or even clitoral and nipple piercings (which are private) some kind of outward statement of rebellion is being made. Not my cup of tea, for myself or the friends I would choose. Plus I would (figuratively) kill my kid if she ever did those types of piercings.

My mom and grandmother pierced my ears when I was like three months old.There’s an infinitesimal part of me that’s annoyed that they pierced my ears before I could have a say in it. I’m just not into jewelry (no matter how much they both forced me to wear it throughout my childhood) and if I had had a choice I wouldn’t have had it done. But, they’re just tiny little holes. Not that big of a deal.

Wow, that is entirely too much. I have three holes in each ear and my lip done. I had my nose and the other side of my lip done at one time but I took them out and let them grow up.
lets see.. i started getting pierced when i was 16.. i have had my tongue, bellybutton, nipples, and 10 in my ears. now i only have 2 in my ears and one in my eyebrow. { of course thats not including all of the random places i shoved safety pins thru when i was a teen… like the flap of skin between your finger and thumb lol. i was weird…}

I’ve had a total of twenty piercings at one time, but right now I only have five in (each tragus and three navel piercings). I have three piercings on each ear lobe, two on one cartilage and three on the other, three navel piercings, my tongue, my vertical labret, and my nose. I also had a microdermal anchor put in, but it rejected after seven months for no reason and with no previous problems. I think that adds up right but I might be forgetting something..
However, my fiance is a piercer, so that may explain why I get so many (and plan on getting more…)

My ears. That’s it. I used to want to get a small diamond in my nose, but I doubt I will. I watched a couple documentaries on extreme body modifications. It was pretty impressive/creepy/disturbing/awesome all at the same time. The things men will do to their dicks! Yikes!
None. I’ve begun to believe that all extreme body modification is a way to try and express inner turmoil from deep seated issues and more mild piercing is for the sake of conformity and attractiveness. I have need of neither.

5 times in my ears…one of those was because I put one too far up and it wasn’t even, lol. Pierced my own belly button but it rejected. Had my lip pierced, and both nipples. I want more!!! Next i want my tragus on both sides and my belly button. I LOVE BEING PIERCED. I enjoy the feeling of it more than the aesthetic of the piercing itsself.

I have several piercings, I love them. Tongue, nose, lip, right & left ear cartiledge, regular ear lobe piercings…but my new addiction is tattoos. There are 2 different skin modification documentaries on Netflix- one is Flesh & Blood and one is called Modify (I think)…they are really interesting.
Eight. Two in each ear lobe, one in the left ear cartilidge, and I’ve not have my navel peirced three times, same placement…keep taking out it. (The first time because it wasn’t straight, the second because my ex didn’t like it, just recently because I’d torn the original peircing; not all the way through; just enough to change the placement of it/it started to migrate forward after the tear.)

I’ve got a septum piercing and I’m considering a medusa and also slightly considering dimple piercings. But even the dimples may be a big extreme for me. I love body mods but there is a such thing as taking it too far.
I have been pierced a few times, the most extreme being by a dart thrown by my brother, which landed in my toe. I’ve never purposely gotten a piercing, and have long said, “If anyone pierces me, I’m going to pierce them!”

I’m so indecisive when it comes to piercings. I’ve had my nose pierced twice, bottom lip pierced twice, eyebrow pierced once, and my belly button pierced once. The only piercings I currently have are two holes in each ear.

I have one hole in each ear and I was in my late 30s or early 40s when I finally got tired of looking for cute clip-on earrings and got my ears pierced. It should be illegal to do piercings that actually change the contour of the face. Who knows what kind of permanent damage that guy in the second group of photos has done to himself. Some of these look more like surgical procedures than piercings. I wonder how many people get massive infections from this stuff?

Omg those pictures are disgusting! I’ve only had my ears pierced. At one point I had two in each ear plus my cartilidge pierced, but now I only have one in each ear that I rarely wear earrings in. At one point I almost got my nose pierced, but I’m glad I didn’t. I’m not big on piercings, personally, but some of them do look cool. I’m more of a tattoo girl myself.
The last one creeped me out the most.

I’ve been pierced five times: my first one in my left lobe (DIY), and a friend gauged it. Second one in the right lobe, pierced by same friend. Once I graduated high school, I got a surface piercing just above my hip bone. First semester of college, I got a second set of piercings in my earlobes.Honestly, it only hurts as much as you let it. The pain is a mental thing, for most of it (yes, there is the fact that a needle is being pushed through your skin/cartilage) and as long as you can squeeze something or distract yourself, it’s not as bad as it seems. Plus afterwards, yay endorphins! =D

I have my ears and my labret. I’m not one to judge usually but I have to sit back and wonder why for some of these. Like the guy with the cheeks. That can’t be comfortable. I get funny looks for people all the time for my labret. Where do these people get jobs at?

@omgroxie - Plugs don’t have to smell bad if you clean them. But I understand where you’re coming from. Some people don’t clean them and they do end up smelling bad, which is disgusting.
I have several earrings, my navel, and hopes to get my tongue done, but those pictures are disgusting. I like piercings but NOT THAT MUCH!

I have a total of 5 piercings right now, all in my ears, all stretched to a certain degree (some more than others), the most piercings I’ve had in at one time is 10 and the total times I’ve been pierced is 15 times. I’ve never had anything pierced below my face and the one piercing I’m most scared of is a tongue piercing.

@omgroxie - LOL yeah I definitely understand what you meaan. I know someone who’s like that and it’s nasty! But my boyfriend’s ears are 5/8 and they don’t smell bad because he takes care of them, and the same with a lot of my friends.

He can probably feel a breeze through his foot.
