somewhere cheap ish then i could get lots of stuff!
walmart
@_@ I was first!
Do online stores count? I would spend it all on eBay :p I get most of my clothes from there anyways.
Nordstroms.
how tedious
Victoria’s Secret.
TJ Maxx, maybe?
Maybe JCPenney.
i have no desire to spend $5000 on clothes. really.
ok. um. i’ll buy at the wholesale outlets and then retail them. profit’s mine, problem’s solved
Stewie’s Big and Tall
Nordstroms or White House Black Market but Nordstroms more likely because it has more variety…
Value Village!
Ugh. I hate shopping. Just the thought of this gives me anxiety.
I would say Wal-Mart, but their clothes selection isn’t that great. So I’ll say Lane Bryant. I could probably buy everything in the store!
Walmart. Totally Walmart.
Probably an outfitter store. They have stuff that’s expensive enough to fill up the whole 5k, but the reason that it’s expensive is because of durability and utility rather than fashion. The one local to me that I would go to is Massey’s, but if I had to pick a larger chain it would probably be REI. I’d get a full-body Gore-tex raincoat, probably five different pairs of boots, etc. 100 pair of hiking socks.
Eddie Bauer, but be forewarned, if you go onto their site, the nature angels start singing.
iTunes. @_@
The Vast Waistband
Damn foolio that’s a toughie. at first I wanna say Hollister.. then I wanna say Nordstrom
*sigh*
I can’t imagine spending that much money on clothes. I guess I’d have to go with somewhere that sells expensive formal wear and get some really nice suits just to keep from overfilling my closet.
Target.
Macy’s… they have Levi’s and great sales.
the cute girly dresses at the betsey johnson store
Hollister or H&M.
Some place with really good suits.
Barker’s
macy’s~~ plus i’ve got coupons for there…
Nordstrom
The store where the the Little Riding Hood buys her clothes.
Probably Walmart. But I don’t think I have spent that much on clothing for myself in my entire life if you added it all up. I cannot imagine spending that much just on clothes.
Targhetto
Victoria’s Secret
H&M. cheap stuff there
Anthropologie
Probably HMV. So many video games, DVDs, CDs and band t-shirts! I hate having to download albums / watch DVDs online because I’m too poor to afford a hard copy
IKEA. They have a restaurant in the store and the comforts of life.
myer!
oh man don’t put ideas into my head
Bloomingdale’s. I’ve been digging these peacoats from Theory and Armani. It’s hard to find a fitted, non-boxy, peacoat with epaulletes, sort of military style. They have a few good ones, but they are not cheap. Armani’s is cashmere, so their’s is mucho dinero. Figured I’d rather buy a really, really good peacoat and pass it on to my son, than buy a crappy one that keeps me cold and requires me to buy another down the line. The closest one I found to what I wanted was a Gap one, but that one would require me to wear a hoodie underneath to stay warm enough. Not really digging that idea.
Amazon.com. No other store would have $5,000 worth of variety.
Probably Maurice’s.
I could blow through $5000 on just a few items.
3 suits @ $1,200 each = $3,600.00
2 pair of dress shoes = $1000.00
Total: $4,600 plus tax @ 8% = $4,968.00
Maurices or Target. Possibly Fashion Bug. ♥
Are you kidding? You can’t get a good bra and shoes for $5000!
Are you trying to smoke out all of Xanga’s trailer park trash?
I don’t think I could spent all the money in one store
HMV for dvd’s, Playstation network, dentist, $5000 of tourist gifts.
Sheffield Wednesday store,
Best Buy
Bebe or Guess
I don’t like to buy clothes but I guess Kolbs in the next town
Maybe I need to stop skimming through posts and only reading about every other word before I comment… Clothing Store would be H&M haha
macy’s. i get the discount and the awesome clothes.
I don’t think I could spend $5000 if I tried…. =/
Probably a store that has a lot of variety like Macy’s so that I can get shoes, handbags, clothing, jewelry, etc.
Marshall’s.
spending that much on clothes?!? Sigh….Can I say a site…like etsy? Then I can help out people who design, sew, and sell their own stuff. It’s pretty neat but sometimes pricey. Since they put so much work into it. I get lost on etsy looking at all the neat clothing people come up with.
PetsMart
That’s a tough rule, man! One store? Okay…maybe American Eagle. But does it have to be spent all in one trip?
J. Crew.
TARGET!
H&M Because I could get everything, and lots of it.
Gander Mountain, maybe, or Cabela’s. I’d rather buy $5,000 worth of books. Clothing doesn’t interest me much, though I’m definitely in favor if it.
do I have to spend it all in one day? I’d probably do some research first, and pick a place that has casual but also formal clothes. probably a department store like Lord & Taylors!
JCPenney. There’s a little bit of everything.
Yowziers, $5K? That is a lot of moola to spend on clothes… but when you really think about it, you could buy yourself some really nice things & then spend the rest on clothes that could be given to Goodwill, Salvation Army or to a youth center/orphanage that is always in need of such items… Spread the wealth around a little… when you give, you receive back… can you think of a better way to go?
Zumiez. New jeans! A bunch of shoes, HIGH TOPS OMG~! Jackets for each day of the week. Sunglasses n hats. Belts, bracelets and backpacks o mi! Damn… I want a shopping spree!!
New York and Company of course
That would be a toss up between Kohls and Target.
I would never have that much money again to spend on clothes, so I’d say Burberry. Get a few exciting designer duds.
that’s a hard choice. maybe like… Tilly’s. or urban outfitters.
That’s a toughie. It’d have to be between Macy’s, Victoria’s Secret, or JC Penny’s. I’m leaning more towards victoria’s secret though lol.
I don’t have a favorite store so I’m not sure.
Men’s Warehouse. That’d net me about 10 nice suits.
Forever 21 maybe hahaha.
Buckle
maybe urban outfitters
I’m not sure, but maybe Burlington. It used to have inexpensive quality items, and I would take some of the many families here who are struggling and find them things to help them ride out this coming winter.
Wally world, to start, then maybe a few other specialty stores. I’m not bereft of clothing, but my closet and dresser are not full, by any means. Peace
foreal , probably at a car auction. i need one of those
Banana Republic, perhaps.
walmart
Either Target or a thirft store in Pittsburgh that I love
Belks. The money would only last a day so I’d have to buy things I’d need later on. work clothes, purses, undies, socks, nice clothes and shoes… that store has everything classy and yet for everyday useage.
Abercrombie & Fitch or Hollister
Nordstrom!
People here have low-brow taste. Saks 5th Avenue won’t let you down.
