  • band members.

wow, first time i’ve ever been first hehehe.

  • Donny Osmond.

    When I was 5.
    Because I’m that cool.

  • this is a hard one, the first name that popped into my head was Walter Dix (sprinter, 4th fastest 200 or something like that)

granted I didn’t talk to him, but I believe I did man his lane

  • I didn’t actually “meet” him, but John Lithgow was a lector at a performance of Mozart’s “Requiem” I saw in Pittsburgh two years ago.

  • Zac Efron. (At least that’s the celebrity I was most excited to meet.)

  • Bob Hope.  Lots of less famous.

  • Besides you? I met Charlie Pride when I was a kid. One of the nicest people I’ve ever met. And Janet Evanovich offered me a doughnut once.

  • King Juan Carlos of Spain in a party at Correos de México like 7 years ago.

  • Danny Glover, the band “Clutch”. I’ve gotten a bunch of autographs from athletes when I was younger but I never really got to talk to them. Interesting image choice.

  • The host of a reality TV show, he is a nice guy. A friend of mine when I was younger was also in a movie with Harvey Keitel so I considered her pretty famous at the time.

  • Megan Good.  Middle name must be “so”. She’s bad, and real sweet too. haha

  • Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.

  • Rick Santorum, Michelle Bachmann, Ron Paul, and Herman Cain while I was studying the Iowa Caucus activity this fall!

    Political Science major, woohoo.

  • My president is not famous :/

  • My congressman, I guess.

  • Quentin Tarantino. At a Metallica Summer Sanitarium concert =]

  • Probably Tobin Heath, she lived next door to me in college for 3 years. Got a gold medal with the US womens olympic soccer team in 08. When she came back we tried to throw her a big surprise party and we decorated the suite all crazy and she saw it and said “ok, you guys can leave this stuff up tonight, but tomorrow it’s coming down.” She didn’t even think a gold medal was a big deal, what is this, I don’t even

  • I had dinner once with Mario and Melvin Van Peebles. at the end I made the mistake of saying “well that was great, I really enjoyed meeting and discussing film-making with you Peebles”. they were both aghast.

And don’t get me started on Nia Peeples. I heard from an unreliable source that she married Jack Black and opted to hyphenate her name. I don’t care, I still hate Black-Peeples.

  • my husband has met Booker T (wwe wrestler), he said that’s the most famous he’s met.

  • Some of the cast from The Goonies: Sean Astin, Jeff Cohen, Corey Feldman, Joey Pantoliano, Curtis Hanson…and Richard Donner (the director) ^_^

  • I had a glance at queen Elizabeth just passing in her limousine on my street few years ago. She actually lives on my street at the Government house when she comes to visit.

  • Lindsay Lohan. Hated her.

  • Jessica Alba, Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington,  Bobby Lee (i keep bumping into him), word.

  • I met all five members of Five Finger Death Punch at the ass-end of September this year.

  • Tyra Banks while working as a cashier at 16 Handles Frozen Yogurt. She was SO tall, but I wasn’t starstruck at all.

  • toss up between Phil Jackson, Scottie Pippen, or Brett Favre

  • HappySlip, when I was 11 she used to come into my classroom a lot and draw dinosaurs with me and her niece. Meg and Dia but i cant stand them now

  • Guy Fieri. He owns a restaurant here in Santa Rosa and drives his goddamn ugly yellow truck everywhere.
And Anti-Flag, at Warped Tour. (:

  • I’ve met Lily Allen, Snoop Dog, Ashanti, Dierks Bently, Blake Shelton, Reba, Ozzy, Marilyn Manson, MCR, Heartwell Ending, Mercy Me when they first came out and i mean there was barely 20 people at the concert but it was still neat. and that guy that used to perform in las vegas.. he still might. He over tans and his hair is so black and stiff it is ridiculous. lol. Lots of older women think he is HOT STUFF. YUCK!! i might have forgot a few. But that is good enough. Snoop and Ashanti i met in airports. The rest were at concerts and i either met them before the concert or way after as i stalked them out LOL!! I met a ton of small bands that you probably wouldn’t consider famous.

But now i’m not cool, now i’m a mom.. and concerts and shows are a day of the past.

  • I know we were supposed to decide who was most famous, but i think that is a matter of opinion lol. So i decided NOT to decide. :)

  • I won a contest and met Taylor Swift, plus front row tickets to her concert in town! She was soo sweet & down to earth! I love that girl!!  :)

  • John Travolta! I was five, and he was landing one of his planes at a resort semi-close to where I live. I gave him a rose and he gave me an autograph.

  • It depends in part on how famous someone has to be for you to consider them a celebrity. I have danced with Rebecca St. James, and I went to church with Tiffany Lee (aka Plumb) and Dale Baker (the former drummer of Sixpence None the Richer). Louis Weaver (the drummer for Petra) also went to that church, but while I saw him quite often, I never actually met him. I went to a different church with Billy Montana, an award-winning country music songwriter. I also saw quite a bit of Gwyneth Paltrow when I worked on the set of Country Strong, but I never actually met her. I also saw Marshall Allman (best known for his roles on Prison Break and True Blood) when I worked on the Blue Like Jazz movie.

  • I met Lady Dianna and Nancy Reagan in Virginia around 1984/85. It was real cool.

  • @BI0chemical_EQUACI0N -  you forgot to mention that HappySlip also called the school because you were causing trouble lol

  • Harel Skaat and Orson Scott Card.

  • Phil Keaggy and Randy Stonehill and probably the Kry. It was when I lived in a high school building that also housed a megachurch in Seattle, so there were Christian concerts pretty often. I was only 5, so I don’t really remember it, but I do have a picture with the first two somewhere.

I also met Jordan Fry (Mike Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) at my brother’s church. And I helped out at a track and field meet in which he raced in junior high.

  • In person, face 2 face, John Wayne out at Westport, WA when he was keeping his yaught docked out there.

  • Most of ‘em I met are wrestlers, and are consequently dead. Except for the Ultimate Warrior, who really did change his name to Warrior. And yes, he really is that crazy in real life. Cocaine is a hell of a drug, children.

    Randy Savage was cool though.

For non wrestlers I’ve met: Jose Reyes, Dan Uggla, Bill Clinton (more than a dozen times when I was little apparently, while he was Governor of Arkansas), Dave Chappelle, and there’s more I can’t remember right now.

  • uhh my local newscaster…

  • Phylicia Rashād, Marc Summers……I worked at a Hertz airport location. A lot of celebs came through to rent cars, but I always missed them!

Lee Hun—(a celeb in South Korea–I was a member at the gym he owned so I ran into him quite often although I had no clue who he was!!)

I also went to high school with Patina Miller before she was famous. We were in choir together. (She sings on broadway-Sister Act–Whoopi Goldberg talks about her a lot on the View)

  • @ShimmerBodyCream - that was my initial answer also. haha

  • I don’t think I’ve met any celebrities… A few of my friends went on to ABT and NYCB, but unless you’re into ballet, you probably have no idea who they are, nor care.

  • Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr - and she is totally down to earth and so amazing xxooo

  • I once busted in on Jacqueline Bisset while she was lounging beside her Bel Aire swimming pool. Her dumb ass boy friend neglected to pay me for a weeks hard work so I went right to the top and politely asked WTF!

  • Jaebum Park.

  • hmmm… Dadi Janki :D

  • Frank Sinatra at a mob party in Vegas

  • Maika Maile of There For Tomorrow and Alex Roy of Sparks The Resce at a concert in October. ((:

  • I have met Tom Cruise, Tom Wopat (Dukes of Hazzard), Country singer Trent Tomlinson, and Country singers from the Williams Riley Band.

  • I met Frankie from the Real World at a tattoo place. I don’t really consider her a celebrity, but she was on TV…so I guess that counts. Lol.

  • Duke University’s Coach K!

  • @FuhkAwf - We share a brain, I was gonna say you!

    Probably  Barack Obama, though.

  • Hmm… most mainstream famous person I’ve met is probably Patrick Wilson. Who is actually a ridiculously awesome guy. We have a lot of mutual friends.

  • I met Stacy Keach once but I’m going to stop telling people that since I keep having to explain who he is. ha.

Xanga Celebs, I’ve met you and SerenaDante, I believe. I don’t know who counts as a Xangalebrity anymore.

  • Putin, but it was more of a fight than a meeting.

  • Spent New Years 2008 in Bud Paxson’s mansion in Montana.  He is the guy that invented the Home Shopping Network hahaha and his daughter Nicole has a makeup line. And I’ve met countless band members.

  • Amy Jo Johnson (aka pink ranger)

Though I must say the interaction was brief b/c she was in a rush grocery-shopping.

The person I was with was egging me on to go talk to her but out of deference, I chose to let her have her meal in peace. She did give me a smile and a little wink, as only she can do!

  • Met just about everyone with a name, from ’65 to ’85 while performing and doing TV work, and since then in Israel, a small country with open doors. Don’t really consider it ‘meeting’ unless we actually spent free time together or did a co-project.
Always knocks me out how patient, attentive, and courteous many big-names are. You wanna discuss their career-path, the tricks of roaming about incognito. stuff like that, and all they say is: ‘Enough about me, tell me your story.”

  • My cousin Glen D Hardin was in the TCB band of Elvis Presley, the Hot Band of Emmylou Harris. just to name two.  In person I have met EP and Emmylou, all members of the Crickets, John Denver, all the pickers and duet partners on George Jones The Bradley Barn Sessions and the list could go on. • Charlton Heston would probably be the most famous person I’ve met. I’ve also met Bill Murray, but he was so drunk that I don’t know if I can really say that I met “him”…so I suppose I could say that I have encountered Bill Murray, rather than met.

  • Sarah Brightman. Most people don’t really know her though… she was the original Christine in The Phantom of the Opera and is a solo artist now. It was a pretty big deal to me, at least. I also know the guitarist for Caroline’s Spine.

  • KEVJUMBA + NIGAHIGA + FAR EAST MOVEMENT!

I only got to talk to Kevjumba, though, and confess my love to him. LOL

…It was a Verizon Meet N’ Greet, so I was in the room with them for about 30 seconds… I’m not sure if that counts as meeting. ;D

  • Rupert Grint/Emma Watson/Tom Felton at the DH2 premiere in NYC. Surprisingly didn’t pass out..

  • I met bassist Alex Webster, one of the best metal bass players, ever.

  • Radio Personality Wolfman Jack – the original Shock Jock. :)

  • Alicia Sacramone and Aly Raisman. If you follow gymnastics you should recognize their names.

  • Jackie Gleason’s wife Beverly.  I was 12 years old and on a plane. I was traveling alone. Those were the safe days. The flight attendant asked me if I wanted to sit with her  on in first class. Then for the next 3 years I got a Christmas card from Jackie and Beverly Gleason.  It ended when he divorced her.  Oh …and I shook hands with then gov. Ronald Reagan when I was 20.

  • Jeff Gordon, Michael Waltrip, Brian Vickers and Casey Mears (all NASCAR drivers). I also met a slew of “professional” wrestlers from the WWE but only because my brother wanted me to be the photographer for him, couldn’t care less about that meet and greet.

  • Bill and Gloria Gaither!!

…that’s not to say I LIKE them.

  • Bruce Campbell is the only famous person that I’ve met, but he was amazing.

  • Bill Gates. i know of other ppl who have met him or his dad. its been a big deal but i’m over it! lol

  • Brandon Inge.. 3rd base for the Detroit Tigers

  • @biggirlsdontcriyiyiyi - You would be one hott maid, Ms. Abatha, and I’d love it if you take off your Easy Striders at the end of your shift, and put your Big Beauties on my face and receive the righteous tonguebath…what’s with all these people on Xanga anyway talking about whether Jim Gravy saw their nipples…what happened to wymyn’s feet & toes????

  • @SUMCRAZiiDESiiCHiK - It was when they first started out, in the 70′s. I went to see them in Cleveland and I was staying at the same hotel as them. I saw him and he thought I worked at the hotel and asked me a question. We then got on the elevator with some other people and the whole time on the elevator he wouldn’t up or look at anybody. He seemed really shy and just kept looking down at the floor.

  • @LSP1 - Thats a really cool story, too. lol. I wasn’t even born in the 70s, but I’m a big fan. He was probably embarrassed at having thought you worked at the hotel. That is kind of embarrassing. haha.

  • Terry ——. I cannot remember his last name, but he had a popular radio show on BBC. I had emailed him about a show we had in Chicago that was so like his. One morning my friend, Peter, in Lincolnshire had the radio on and heard my name. .OMG, he said, there surely aren’t TWO Beverly Crook’s in Illinois who know Terry!!

Dammit, I wish I could remember his name.

  • Anita Sheer, she used to sing with Joan Bias and Bob Dylan
