I’d compare side by side, but I don’t think my monitor could handle it.
In some ways yes, in other ways no.
Physically no. Emotionally yes. I’ll take that switch any day of the week.
I’m going to say that I’m more attractive now than ever before and for reasons that have very little to do with what clothes I wear or how I style my hair.
In 5 more years I’ll be more attractive than I am now.
In some ways, yes.
I’m definitely more attractive than I was 5 years ago.
Probably, but I don’t exactly spend time gazing at myself in the mirror to idolize myself.
Hell, yes! Five years ago I weighed 52 pounds more and had adult braces on my teeth.
Yes, I got a nose job (which does need some fixing , but it still looks MUCH better) and my hair is much prettier/healthier/shinier/better color/etc. I had a better body 5 years ago though. *shrug*
Hell yes. Jesus Christ I was an ugly kiddo.
I think so.
Uh, yeah… I think so.
5 years ago I was 15. I was getting there. I think the height of my looks was 17…definitely downhill from there.
No.
My hair might have magically gotten redder, but other than that there’s not much difference between 47 and 52.
I was 16 and yeah…my hair looked awesome back then and I worked out enough that my body looked hot. Of course, I’m only realizing this now that I don’t look like that.
omg she is so pretty
as for myself im not sure sometimes I think so sometimes I wish I looked the way I did 5 years ago it just depends on my mood haha now…angelina jolie…that woman ages beautifully jeallousss
Yes.
No but I think I have not lost to much ether
I look the damn same…except more uglier…
If you would have asked me this question anytime in the last 3 years it probably would have been no. But now…I’d say yeah. Or similar =]
I think I’ve aged but gracefully, so I have to say…yes
I was 11 five years ago… So, I’d say; yes. At 11 I looked like an under developed potato.
I’m 122 pounds lighter…So yup!
I think I looked pretty much the same – not bad looking, I suppose. My Asian genes have served me well.
i was definitely more attractive at 16 than i am at 21 and i have photographic evidence to prove it!
No… I have bigger boob’s but my tummy was so sexy back then…
I don’t think so. Haven’t taken good care of myself.
I like to think I was put here on earth to make other people look better in comparison.
Absolutely, yes. Lol. Inside and out.
i didnt notice any wrinkles when i was younger..i’d say..im more attractive now..wished i was skinnier..
Depends to whom.
Somebody told me recently that I was getting better looking by the day! So I guess that probably means yes.
Five years ago, I was 18 years old. My only regret is that I was skinnier then… but that just means I’ll have to work on it now, which I plan to. But I’ve developed a lot in other ways. I probably looked 15 or 16 when I was 18, so no… now I probably look 18 or 20, and if I could just get the extra weight off I’d be happier with the way I look now than I did then.
Yes. I was completely depressed 5 years old and I looked like an awkward 14 year old who was just learning how to wear makeup (which was disastrous).
I cannot remember how I looked five years ago (we rarely take photos)
no
Hell yes
Hopefully the full bloom of youth makes health and physical beauty flourish for a while at least. The decrepitude of old age looks rather stark.
I was an ugly motherfucker 5 years ago lmfao.
nothing about me has changed in 4 years.
I think I am about the same, with longer hair. I don’t change much, except I changed a lot from grade 9-11. Then it was all the same haha.
I’m really not sure – which then means the answer is probably a resounding NO!
5 years ago I was 15. I think I look exactly the same. Actually I was in better shape back then so maybe that counts as yes? Eh.
I’m an immortal I never change.
Probably.
Yes I believe so. Maturity, motherhood, and confidence has made me so.
I think some people are more attractive in their youth. Some people try too hard to look better as they age, bc they might be making up for the fact they are getting older. Whatever happens to me, I’ll let it happen. But I have every intention of aging gracefully!!!
I dont think so – i used to have some pretty cool hair but when the army took that I was never the same haha plus i lifeguarded a lot in high school so i was always tan.. being pale SUCKS. other than that maybe im even? who knows.
I changed my hair a bit, but I look the same otherwise. It’s true. I haven’t aged in about 12 years now.
Acne all over my face, chest, back and some on my upper legs along with dark circles, big pores, glasses and I sucked at sports…Yes, I’d definitely have to say I look okay now..
by far. hands down. no comparison. i believe to a certain point, with age comes increased beauty.
then you hit 65.
I was hot when I was 20; I’ll tell you that much, but that was only three years ago.
Odd, I was just thinking about this about two hours ago. Probably not but then again, I was twenty four.
I look abit older so yes I guess
Yep, definitely more attractive now than I was at 15 years old.
Yes, I am much more attractive than I was five years ago. Five years ago I was 13, 13 is a pretty awkward stage to be.
Hell to the yeah, i do not miss the days when i was hella spotty and didn’t know how to dress or how to talk to girls!
With confidence, I can say yes. Not only did my body change, my mind-set did, as well. Five years ago, I was a pre-teen that didn’t have any confidence or inner strength to carry myself.
@Southeast_Beauty - If you were hot at age 20 what happened to you, did you gain weight?
Oh, yes. Lost weight.
yeah i think so. i mean maybe not physically because i’m growing out a pixie cut, and its in that weird mid-stage, but when my hair is either really short or relatively longer, then yeah. but mentally and emotionally: much more so.
No. I looked better during my late teen years.
I like myself a lot more now, I think I am
Nope. Five years ago, I still looked like a beret-wearing skull … Trucker has since taken a slight lead.
Yes. More confidence & personality, less on outlook. Look where that got me (:
sounds about right
DEFINITELY am. I turned into a beautiful swan, LOL. i was an ugly duckling… or am i still one *looks around*
not sure. 5 years ago I was 17… I pretty much look the same!
If less hair is attractive, sure.
Not by a long shot, but I feel a lot better.
I was 19, still in college with an eating disorder but I was 30lbs lighter then than I am now so no I wouldn’t say I am. I worked out every day and went to the tanning bed usually 5 times a week. I haven’t been to a bed in years and it’s been 2 years since my last gym membership, plus I still have baby weight I’m trying to lose now. No I was more attractive at 19 than I am at 24. I’m hoping I can change that within the next few months though.
It depends on how one would define the word “attractive.” I don’t believe that I am. I had a certain “youth” about my existence. Now I feel like an “old soul.” I don’t even bother to care what people think of me. That attitude usually doesn’t show up until you’re about 60 years old. At least that’s what I have heard.
I was thinner. -_- So much thinner.
Nope.
I was definitely more attractive 5 years ago. I was at my ideal weight, and it was before I started having health problems, and my hair was almost down to my hips. I wouldn’t say I’m unattractive now, but I definitely felt more attractive then.
No, I say this because I have gained weight and I don’t think I look as pretty. If I could lose some weight than the answer would be yes.
I am WAY more attractive…
Because being attractive is (shhh) in the MIND… If I BELIEVE that I’m attractive, and act like it, OTHERS will see it and be more inclined to believe it too. We teach people how to treat us.
Even though I’ve gained weight since five years ago, I have GAINED confidence… MORE men (and women) look at me NOW then when I Was a twig.
5 years ago I was 17 and recovering from an ACL reconstruction. I was lazy and had gained weight from not being able to move around properly/enough.
Now, I’m 22 and I think I’m way better looking. I’m lean, athletic and I carry myself better.
I think my heart is.. I can’t tell about my outer shell. I am 39 yrs old a mother of 5 kids don’t think you get more attractive after all that.
You tell me…
< < < Then
< < < Now.
I’m not sure. I can’t tell if I’ve gotten fatter since or wrinklier.
i think i was more attractive 5 years ago than now.
Not according to my driver’s license pictures.
I definitely look better now than before. Looking back five years ago, I was only 15 with crooked teeth. Now I’ve had my braces taken off, played sports, and did a lot of tanning through swimming and water polo for high school and college.
I think I was more attractive back then. I’m slightly over weight now and my skin is having “issues”. So no Im not more attractive.
Did you look like Jessica Alba 5 years ago?
No, I was more attractive 5 years ago.
Call me crazy, but I thought I recall you saying something like ‘quitting xanga forever’ in a year. I think I have seen you around for that long or longer. But I digress, I am physically more attractive 5 years ago, mentally? Hell no.
Good grief! Who cares! I’m just glad to be alive…
I was 17, had 2 workouts a day at the local gym, and I watched what I ate. I was way more attractive 5 years ago… because now, I’m not proving myself to the bitches of Yorktown High School.
Probably not. ha. I was still in my 20′s five years ago . . . also that was like 3 kids ago. ;D
You know what? I think I am. I’m twenty-eight (going on twenty-nine) right now….and I’m about 15 lbs slimmer with straighter teeth (albeit wearing braces) now!
Yes. I keep getting more attractive each year.
I was ten.
So I certainly hope so.
No not at all.
I would say so I mean I was 26 and chubby now I am 31 and slimmer. I definitely feel better now.
No, just balder :/
@RulerofMasons - I let myself go. Darn these triple cheeseburgers. =P But in all seriousness, I don’t know what happened, I was a lot more outgoing and carefree. My aura was hot. Weight stayed relatively about the same. I’ve never had issue with weight.
Pretty much the same minus the growing up part.
ugh the last five years have taken their toll in every sense
Five years ago I was 17. I think I was still on the tail end of my awkward phase, so yeah, I’m more attractive now. Not that I set the bar fabulously high.
are you kidding I’m 60yrs old now.
I am better than 5 years ago, 5 years ago i was 13
Heck yes, I was 15 then and at the peak of my awkward stage. Now I have a halfway decent haircut and wardrobe and am 20 pounds lighter.
Beauty..is in the eye of the Beholder.. Confidence is Beauty.. People tend to be too judgmental of themselves.. For a person to be just their true self..is beauty.. If a person was beautiful inside first, years does not change that Mother Theresa..One very such person..
I abso-freaking-lutely look better now. My old pictures embarass me… I was significantly larger. YAY for positive change!
Absolutely, but I know that my beauty wont last much longer the older I get..
hell yes! I totally grew out of the awkward, overweight, acne, bad hair, unhappy years! Oh wait… I think I have almost the same haircut again now…
I’m pretty sure I am about the same.
probably not.
I was 16. I refuse to look at pictures of myself from five years ago. Cringe.
I am much better looking now than I was 5 years ago. I was 21, and I think I changed a lot in my early 20s, and learned a lot about how to dress, style my hair, and do my make up. I’m dreading the year when I look back and think I looked better before. Scary.
I am more attractive today than I was 5 years ago in all aspects.
I’m physically more attractive, but I endured some fucked up things that’s made my personality all wacko and insecure. 5 years did so much!
5 years ago I was 13, so, yeah, I sure hope so. that was an awkward phase…
Oh yeah! Everyone when i was younger told me i was a beautiful pretty girl/ adolescent – of course i didn’t believe any of them… but now at 20 yrs old.. i am a beautiful woman and i know it. (not being vain at ALL) ha
Not that I’m particularly attractive now, but more attractive than 5 years ago? Yes.
well my hair is longer, i’m a little smarter and have gained a couple of pounds so i’d say the same but aging well like wine, ya right
