  • Cursing on TV and Xanga

There are only two places you still can’t curse.  One is on TV.  The other is on xanga’s front page.

Pretty soon. It may just be xanga’s front page.

The Supreme Court is going to hear a case expressing the view that cursing should be allowed on TV.

The TV Networks argue that TV is held to a different standard than cable and the Internet.  So they are the only place that is policed.  Here is the link:  Link

Should we be able to hear the words “F***” and “sh**” on TV?

  • Are Women More Complicated?

Recently I wrote on Facebook:  “I think for the most part it is difficult for a male to know what is normal behavior for a woman and what is psychotic. . . what needs a little tender loving care and what really needs to be medicated. The fact that 90% of women will think this update is about them sort of makes my point.”

I noticed Stephen Hawking said recently that women were the greatest mystery in the Universe.  Here is the link:  Link

  • Afraid to Die

I spent the bulk of my childhood afraid that I would die.

I was in constant fear of nuclear war.  I was afraid of tornadoes.  I had constant dreams related to both when I was under 12 years old.    I always had a sense when I was young that I was going to die young.

    Are you afraid to die?

  • Naked Yoga

I was reading an article about a woman who was married and her husband was out of town.

She decided to go to a naked yoga class that was coed.  Here is the link:  Link

Would it bother you if your husband/wife went to a naked coed yoga class?

  • Is a Xanga Recommend an Endorsement?

I was reading an article about how social media was unable to predict election results.

In the article, the author describes how people tend to retweet, like or follow issues on facebook and twitter even if they disagree with what is being said.  Here is the link:  Link

So a facebook “like” is not an endorsement of what is said.

Do you recommend posts on xanga that you disagree with?

  • Indonesian Men Beating Women

A group of Indonesian men are shown on a video beating women.  It was said in one of the threads that the video was shot in Malaysia.

Have you ever seen a man hit a woman?

  • Telling a Child He/She is Fat

Say a child is gaining weight and a parent is getting concerned.

The parent tried to reduce the child’s food but it is difficult to control everything a child eats.

Should a parent ever tell a child he/she is getting fat?

  • Have You Ever Been The Victim of Bullying

Annie Norris was bullied when she was in school because she had acne and a flat chest.

Fortunately, she is now a hot pole dancer so no one can bully her anymore.  Here is the link:  Link  (I am always thankful when a person finds a way to deal with bullying).

I was never bullied in school.  A few people messed with me here and there and I got in some fights.  One time I fought three guys at one time and I had so many bruises that I had to go to the doctor.  But I never felt bullied.  It just felt like fighting to me.  I tend to think that we tend to call everything bullying now when sometimes it is just kids having differences.

    Have you ever been bullied?

  • Your Best Post Ever

Which post on xanga is your best post ever?  I mean the post that you feel good about.

Maybe it received a bunch of attention.  Maybe it was incredibly transparent.  Maybe it was controversial.  Maybe you worded it perfectly.

    Give us the link.

  • Are You Getting Fatter?

I actually lost weight this year.

Do you weigh more than you did last year on New Year’s Day?
