I bought my first lotto ticket yesterday. I am 40 and I never played the lotto.
I never played the lotto because my dad had a gambling addiction. But I figured it wouldn’t hurt this once (I wonder if that is what my dad thought).
Everyone at work was playing too.

The truth is starting to get out about Trayvon Martin. Apparently he punched George Zimmerman and then slammed his head against the sidewalk.

Dickinson College held a conference dealing with the issue of “Fat Shame.”
The thinking is that young people are given an unrealistic picture of what they should look like.
The students were asked to sign pledges to not engage in “Fat Talk.” The concern is that women are ashamed of how they look based on false standards. Here is the link: Link

Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera is blaming a hoodie on the death of Travvon Martin. The young black boy was shot even though he was unarmed.
Geraldo said, “I am urging the parents of black and Latino youngsters particularly not to let their children go out wearing hoodies. I think the hoodie is as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as much as George Zimmerman was.”
He went on to say, “People look at you, and what’s the instant identification? What’s the instant association? It’s those crime-scene surveillance tapes. Every time you see someone stickin’ up a 7-Eleven, the kid’s wearing a hoodie.” Here is the link: Link

Republican Alan Dick believes women should get permission from their husbands or boyfriends before they are allowed to get an abortion.
His thinking is like this: “if a woman gets pregnant and decides to have the baby, he said, then the guy is on the hook for paying for it for 18 years. Yet if the woman chooses not to carry the child all of a sudden it’s her individual personal choice,” he said. “…I don’t think it’s really her pregnancy because it’s their pregnancy. And if anything the decision to have an abortion should be made not only by the woman but the man who is also involved.”
He went on to say, “Double standards always bothered me and if I thought that a man’s signature was required in order for a woman to have an abortion I’d have a little more peace about it…” Here is the link: Link

So my wife asked me to go get tickets tonight to see the movie “Hunger Games.” She has read all three books. I went to purchase the tickets tonight for the movie tomorrow.
This was the line for the opening at 12:00 midnight tonight.
At about 9:30 p.m., the line was all the way down the side of that building and around the corner. I was able to walk right up and get tickets for tomorrow night. My wife said she would have went to see it tonight at midnight if she would have known it was opening at midnight.

A Republican legislator believes that women should have to witness an abortion before having an abortion.
