Your Olympic Sport
Let me give you a hypothetical. Imagine you could train for 4 years. You were given the best coaches in the sport you pick. And your goal was to win a medal in the Olympics.
1. Diving
2. Swimming
3. Synchronized Swimming
4. Water Polo
5. Archery
6. Badminton
7. Basketball
8. Boxing
9. Canoeing
10. Cycling
11. Equestrian
12. Fencing
13. Field Hockey
14. Football
15. Gymnastics
16. Handball
17. Judo
18. Rowing
19. Sailing
20. Shooting
21. Table Tennis
22. Taekwondo
23. Tennis
24. Triathlon
25. Volleyball (must wear tight skimpy outfit)
26. Weightlifting
27. WrestlingWhich sport would you be most likely to win a medal?
Comments (78)
Uhh, can I pick failure?
28. Vodka drinking
Boxing! Pretty sure I could punch the crap out of someone, given the opportunity! Man that would be fun!
Archery would be sweet.
Boxing!
No summer sports…I am more of a winter sports man…and at 6’10″ basketball would be my chosen sport.
Gymnastics!
Swimming or equestrian. Gymnastic is my favourite but I’d need more than four years to train to win a medal!
Table tennis.
Xangaing.
NAKED WRESTLING.
Equestrian.
you left out track&field/marathon….
I would love to try pole vault but I’m too short, I’ll stick to long distance track or the marathon
win? probably nothing, but if i had to train 4 years i would do archery, judo, shooting and volleyball
Sailing. Because I’ve got my ship together. I’m the ship. Ship happens.
I could do this all night.
11,15 or 23
I can run for a long time, though im injured now. It must be genetic because i didnt ever work at it. Prior to braindamage, i was a decent shooter. Im fairly athletic, which, like all abilities, is a sin.
Badmitton
Probably Archery or Shooting.
Tennis
Sailing and only because I love it.
Muffins.
I would do a track event; although I have weak ankles, and would risk complete failure. Running is the only type of exercise that gives me maximum release.
badminton ftw
Ballooning…
napping
swimming or football, but I would want to win at boxing!
cycling!
Fencing or Chicken Sexing
football.
Paraguay
I’d get a gold medal in Paraguay.
10. Cycling
or
28. Speed Skating
but I’m petite and very slim, so I’d probably be ideal for diving. I don’t want huge calves from cycling or skating, so I’ll pass.
1. Diving. final answer.
probably try for swimming since I was already pretty close to the stop 100 or so in the country when I quit, and for the same reason I might try synchro. same skills less competition. shooting would probably be something that would be easier to train in, however.
@ShimmerBodyCream - The world’s most watched spectator sport
Personally, I’d rather wait until the winter Olympics and do the biathlon, because what is cooler than skiing and sharpshooting combined?
Basketball!
Shooting…already have some training there, so it would be “easier.”
Triathlon.
Why not? It’s a three-for-one deal.
Gotta say, though, I’d LOVE to have the body of a gymnast. Those guys are the definition of power and control.
Curling. Duh, apparently the curlers party the hardest in olympic village.
watching hot sex. i’m an expert.
Probably Cycling or Triathlon
, bhaha @ShimmerBodyCream
complaining
sport field hockey (but for team games I hope the rest of the team can share the best coaches) to win a medal. we did hockey at school (minus the penalty corner, shots) etc just normal hockey. I was put up front (we played with no goalkeepers) to avoid the same people going in goal all the time.
Gymnastics, no contest. But I’d still fail. I never got a chance to perfect my back whips and was still a little afraid doing back handsprings on a balance beam w/o a spot. God this is depressing. I can hardly do a backbend now, and hells no to splits. Used to be able to cartwheel and jump into them.
Diving!
Why is “eating 100 hot-dogs” not an option?
Volleyball is a ton of fun, and maybe badminton
fishing :p
Water polo
a sport which is a cross between handball and football.
Mm. I’m stuck on three. Archery, boxing, and taekwondo. Things that will really pay off later in life I believe. I mean, being fit period would pay off but the stamina and discipline of these would definitely benefit me. That and archery because my husband made me watch King Arthur (with Clive Owen) last night and it was pretty bad ass.
Sleeping
Gold medal for Dan-Theo in blogging.
Archery for me
Archery, because it’s something I really, really love to do, and If I have to dedicate my life and future to something, that would be it.
archery. I’m already really good at it in LoL.
Your an awesome person keep rocking cause there’s no one else like you*
I always thought archery was interesting. If I could become good enough to be in the olympics, that’s what I would choose.
Archery. hands down and arrows up.
either Volleyball or tennis
Neither, lol.
Either archery, shooting, badminton, or fencing.
Gymnastics .
volleyball! with all that training, i’d want to show it off in a tight, skimpy outfit hahaha
American football
equestrian for sure!
Equestrian!!!!!! Jumping all the way. I’d probably kill myself, but hey, I’ve got awesome coaches, right?
lets see I learned archery as a kid, wrangled horses , did prof skating, & gymnastics as a teen…I prefer the idea of archery bc the others left me with some injuries. ( btw this for real…I liked being busy)
Fencing and Archery; the only two sports worth winning especially with the “apocalypse” coming this year.
Fencing. I’ve trained with sabrists who used to be on the Hungarian national team and the Puerto Rican national team.
Shooting. I already have intentions of entering to be on Top Shot.
Archery
Badminton. I’ve played it since I was young and am actually still pretty good. My ex-roommate (back in college) and I used to say that we were going to the next Olympics. However, then we saw that it was in London and decided we’ll wait to see if there’s a better destination the next time around for us to attend.
I’d love to do Gymnastics, but I’d be better at swimming or volley ball
5 and 13 archery and field hockey
Weightlifting – `Tis my best sport….
Swimming or equestrian. The only 2 sports I’m actually decent at.
你張相影得唔錯喔!!
Taekwondo.
It’s the one I care the most about, so I’d probably train harder and better than I would in something else.
badminton! that is the only thing i am even remotely okay at on this list lmao.
definitely equestrian, because then if I mess up I’d totally blame the horse
