  • Merry Christmas

We went over to the in-laws today and opened gifts.   We really don’t have much planned for tomorrow.  We will open gifts at our house and then we are going to the movie “Les Miserables.”

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.
What are you doing for Christmas?

  • Going to my mom’s, and then to my aunt’s, and then back home since I have to work tomorrow. Enjoy the movie! I saw the play on Broadway a long time ago. I don’t remember much except that it’s kind of long.

  • Opening gifts, playing with gifts (It’s so fun with young kids!), eating dinner… being lazy. Ahhh, the joy!

  • tomorrow is our very informal dinner.  ham and the works, but it’s just us and our girls.  we’ll stuff our faces, then sit around burping and saying over and over again how full we are, as we continue to stuff our faces.  we did the whole family thing tonight.  merry christmas!

  • Just a quiet day with the three of us, opening presents, eating pot roast, maybe starting our annual Lord of the Rings marathon.

  • I have my son and his dog here with me. We will have a breakfast at the 40 diner, open a couple of gifts, play a game or maybe several, possibly see a movie (a couple are possible), he’ll play with his friends. I’ll look at e-mail and blogs. We’ll probably have dinner here… most places in my area will be closed; although this year I do see many signs on business doors that they will be open.

Have a Merry Christmas… may there be as much peace on your Earth as there is in your heart.

    Thanks for asking.

  • Reader’s theater of “It’s A Wonderful Life.”  And MC and a HNY to you!

  • Christmas blows, who wants to go smoke some meth?

  • Going to my aunt and uncle’s house on my Mom’s side. We’re going to do something with my Dad’s side probably the week after.

  • The same as any off-day.

  • Me too!!!! Im gonna go catch it with my lovely sister
    Merry Christmas! X

  • First off, a merry Christmas to you, Dan!
Tomorrow I’ll open presents and take some family photos in the morning, then my maternal grandparents will be over for lunch. After that, it’s sleeping and drinking.

  • I’m a negative nancy right now because of all the stress tied to this holiday… Though I’m beginning to believe that my mom prefers lots of people (even if it is stressful) over a nice quiet celebration with the immediate family. And mom is still running this show… I’d do things differently. :P

We had a small gathering of 14 for dinner this evening at my Aunt’s house. Socializing, church, dinner… That was this evening. Tomorrow we’ll have mimosas and breakfast and then open gifts, socialize some more and eat a Christmas dinner around 3 pm.

  • I’m working a double shift at time and a half. Working one day and getting paid for 3.

  • 1) Opening presents from my parents (we always open them Christmas morning, as opposed to Christmas Eve), while the Yule Log is playing on television, followed after that watching 2) “March of the Wooden Soldiers,” and 3) just lounging around. Maybe, 4) going back to my Aunt’s to eat some more Holiday food.

Merry Christmas, to you and your family. Enjoy Les Miserables.

  • Merry humbug day.
I’m visiting family all day tomorrow. I’m going to get a bunch of stuff I don’t need. Yay…

  • Personally I am ready for St. Patrick’s Day.

I was up until 3:30am, watching Hogan’s Heroes on Youtube, and surfing the Internet, bouncing around on Facebook. I only got five hours of sleep. Picked up my pay, have to prepare to go to Bangkok, go to the embassy, make a blinking border hop for a visa, and wish someone would send me some cash to make it through the end of January, when I get paid. In short, Christmas isn’t going very well this year, and that is normal for me. New Year’s should be okay, but Valentine’s Day will be a drag. St. Patrick’s Day at least has some happy music if there is nothing said about alcohol in the songs. Best to listen to Irish/Celtic instrumental music during that time.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Believe it or not, like it or not, God is blessing.

  • More family stuff. Gifts, lunch. Let me know how the movie is!

  • we’re celebrating on wednesday ~ merry christmas Dan!

  • I really want to see Les Mis, let us know what you think. I’ll be with my family for Christmas, trying to get through the day without my Dad, so we have a pretty subdued holiday planned, and we are abandoning some of our family traditions this year, which I’m glad about. Merry Christmas to you and your family Dan. <3

  • A very Merry Christmas and may you and yours be blessed and have a day filled with joy.

  • Christmas with daughter was this past weekend due to her having plans with her dad and his family this morning. Son still in Kosovo. Husbands children live way out of state. Just a nice, quiet day at home, husband and I. Merry Christmas Dan to you and yours!

  • Working a nine hour shift! Merry Xmas

  • What did you get for Christmas? I love the comic you posted. I am going to my moms to do gifts ( that is her favorite part of Christmas) and I am coming home to sleep because I think I have the flu.

  • Just making dinner fir my wife and myself, as kids are out of town celebrating with my wife’s family.  You have a Merry Christmas, Dan.

  • Merry Christmas, Dan.

We are visiting our single happy daughter in the L.A. area.

  • Merry Christmas!

Typing Merry Christmas on a lot of comments and posts!

  • We’re apparently having a Once Upon a Time marathon, and everyone is sick in some variation. I’m over here with a splitting headache, my mother has a nasty cold, and my brother isn’t allowed to eat anything fun (no chocolate, sweet potatoes, tea, etc.)

Merry Christmas to you and yours. Tell us how the movie is.

  • Staying home and getting fat :)

  • Merry Christmas, Dan…  The day will be spent quietly by myself. Took a long walk, enjoyed the beauty of the little community I live in. Now dinner is cooking and all is well.
