    Imagine you were given a free shopping spree.  You could go to only one clothing store but in that store you could grab any clothing you wanted for free for 60 minutes.

  • My Childhood Teddy Bear

    I want to show you a photo of my childhood teddy bear.  (This is response to MedicMark’s post about his Teddy Bear).
    I think I got him when I was two for Christmas.  So that would make him 39 years old.  The yellow part was redone because he started to fall apart at one point. 
    I slept with him at night until I was 9.  My mom caught me taking him to camp so she made me sleep without him for a week and that broke me of the habit.
    I called him “Teddy Bear.”  I was not incredibly original back then either.

    A high school girl decided to start a modesty club.
    She felt her peers were showing too much skin.  Girls were wearing “midriff-grazing tops, exposed cleavage, short shorts.”  Here is the link:  Link

    I tend to think that pinterest is the best website on the Internet.  I am impressed by how so many different people with different talents can be brought together on the website. 

    My wife looks up recipes on the site all the time.

  • Consenting to a Blow Job

    A woman nurse in a jail was charged with a criminal sexual act for giving a male inmate a blowjob.
    She could go to prison for 4 years.
    She was charged because the man was “legally incapable of consenting to the conduct” because he was in jail.  Here is the link:  Link

  • Sometimes You Have To Take the Photo

    Many of you probably heard the story about a photographer who took a photo of a man who was pushed on the tracks in a subway.  
    The man was killed moments after this photo was taken.  There are those who believe the photographer should have put down his camera and helped the  man out.  Here is the link:  Link

  • There is No Santa

    An afterschool teacher is coming under fire for telling kids there is no Santa.
    She told the children that Santa is not real and that their parents put the gifts under the tree.  She thought she should tell them the truth.  Here is the link:  Link

  • Remembering the Life of an Abuser

    I want to join the Kansas City Chiefs and their fans in celebrating Jovan Belcher who killed his girlfriend and then himself.

    Fans came together to celebrate his memory:

    Some fans expressed their sadness:
    Women put aside the petty issue of domestic abuse for the larger good like this woman:
    Players and coaches embraced:
    The team owner offered his support:
    More tears were shed:
    They bowed their head in silence:
    Fans wanted him to rest in peace:
    Now ordinarily people would think this is the time to talk about domestic abuse.  But this would be a huge mistake.  He killed Kasandra Perkins and she was just your typical victim.  It does not take much to get shot.

    Jovan Belcher was a professional football player who played before 50,000 fans and millions more on TV.
    Join with me in expressing your sadness for Jovan.  May he rest in peace.

                                                                                                      

  • Fixing Your Hair

    I can fix my hair pretty fast.  I walk over to the sink.  I wet down my hair.  I come it down straight.  I put gel in my hair.  And then I quickly mess it up and blow dry it.
