Pregnant at Nine
A nine-year old girl is pregnant with twins.
She is four months pregnant and was abused by her stepfather. Here is the link: Link
Now I know some people say a mother shouldn't put her life before the life of her children when it comes to abortion.
Do you support the mother's decision for an abortion?

Yes, regardless of if giving birth would prove fatal, it would physically and psychologically damage this girl for her life.

Umm...she's 9...The hard part to believe is that she's actually making a decision of that magnitude at 9. My mom thought kids shouldn't cross the street by themselves until they were 8. Having abortions? I dunno.

Yikes, I'd think at that age, delivering twins could be fatal for the little girl. So in that case, yeah, if an abortion saves the mother's life - who is just a child herself - then she should go through with the abortion.
In this case yes. She's didn't ask to be abused by her stepfather, and even if she did she's too young to consent. Not only that but her body can't handle the pregnancy. Every day that she's pregnant puts strain on her heart and other vital organs.
Although to be honest, if she's already four months along, they might as well wait the three weeks until the twins reach viability then induce labor three months early. It will be no more invasive than an abortion at this point.

@EarthsAzureLight - I've known many women who've had abortions. I'm extremely skeptical about the so-called psychologically damage that abortion supposedly causes.

@SladeTheGreyFox - I perfer to use a rusty corkscrew. It's more effective than a spoon and you get a better hold. Although I admit, the antifreeze was a nice touch.

Or the "psychologically damage" of forcing her to carry to term at nine years old.

I lost my comment, I'm not typing it again. In summary: yes, go for the abortion.
And I agree to castrate the father/step father.
This is one of the rare cases where I'd support it, as the pregnancy would kill the mother. I do note, with shame, that Brazil's abortion laws are more advanced than our own.
