Tiger Woods and Domestic Abuse
TMZ is reporting that Tiger Woods received his injuries to his face from his wife and not from his car accident.
According to their source, his wife confronted him about "reports that he was seeing another woman." After arguing, she scratched his face. He then got in his car and she struck the vehicle with a golf club. Here is the link: Link
Obviously we don't know what happened. I wonder how the media will cover the story and whether they will blame her or him if any of this is true.
I was a medical photographer in the military and I had to take photos of spousal abuse situations. I had to take photos of women all the time but I did take photos of men who had been abused. It is interesting that a man generally has to be seriously injured in order to report domestic abuse.
I have a general theory that women are just as violent as men but they do not have the power to carry out their violence. So most of them know it is unwise to even come at a guy with a club because in most situations they will still lose that battle. In other words, I do not believe that men are more violent than women but men are just stronger for the most part.
Do you think men are biologically more violent than women?

Obviously never dated a hispanic girl, Dan, they will KICK THE SHIT OUT OF YOU IN TEN SECONDS
yes, i do think men are more violent. there's so much evidence supporting this.
@Drakonskyr - then there's the filipino haircut. think lorena bobbit
I have to agree with you. Women can be vicious.
I'll also admit that when I read the title of this I thought "Omg Tiger Woods abused his wife?!"
I think both sexes can have violent tendencies...they tend to translate their anger into different forms. But many studies I believe would tend to show men more biologically inclined towards violence...
@hilaw - You should write for David Letterman. That was a beauty! hahahahaha
Women can be as violent. There's a lot of stereotyping around the male image. We like playing rough sports (football, soccer, rugby, boxing, hockey) and suddenly we're more violent. Women's rugby seems like a testament to the opposite.
Lol.
Eh, I've been hearing too many stories on the news lately of middle school and high school girls beating the shit out of each other, so who knows.
@Leonidas - The studies would neither serve to validate nor invalidate this concept. If women are smart enough to know not to attack someone they know they stand no chance against physically then it skews the data.
@hilaw - Never dated a flip, but had my fair share of hispanic broads who could break my toes if I went toe-to-toe. Lawdy.
@Drakonskyr - I was thinking the same thing hah
Us Chicana's can take a man down!! Puro Chicana!
uh, yea...testosterone. though, I think I probably must have more testosterone than a woman is meant to have, because I can get pretty violent fairly quickly. short fuse :p
I had lots of male cousins growing up so I can pretty much hold my own. My daughters dad tried to raise a hand to me when we were kids before we had her and I ended up beating the shit out of him.. He never raised a hand to me again...
@Drakonskyr - welp, this is what i've heard too. but with flip women, they can make you hurt yourself. or kill yourself. they don't have to lift a finger. the women in my mom's family, i swear.
I have an ex-sil who came at my brother all the time. She threw stuff, used stuff to hit him with, try to come at him with knives, etc. The only reason she didn't inflict too much damage is that he was stronger and could take the stuff away from her, and would grab ahold of her and not let go until she calmed out of her rage. And because she didn't inflict serious damage, he never reported it. I think violence prone women would inflict just as much damage as men if they were physically capable.
I hope this story is not true. How sad if it is! And the children are the ones that truly suffer.
I think violence in women manifests itself differently than it does in men. Men tend to exhibit large explosions of physical violence where as women seem to exhibit violence in more subtle ways. Shrug.
I guess "Tiger" is really not a proper name for a guy that gets beat up by a woman.
Tiger's wife kind of reminds me of Michael Jackson.
Anyway, I have known a few girls who I think would definitely abuse their significant others in the future, if they don't already.
Abuse of men by their SO happens a lot more than people realize. It's just that men are often too ashamed to admit their woman is beating them. In many cases, he finally defends himself and HE gets arrested, because the cops assume he was the main aggressor.
I think that both men and women have a tendency to violence. Each just show it differently. It is all about self control and if you have it or not.
Bitches be crazy.
Hell No!!! I know some crazy violent Bitches. I can't believe his wife is that UGLY.
I think women can be just as violent as men. Many men do get abused but because they don't want to be seen as weak by other men they don't report.
Testosterone makes you more violent, energetic, etc. Maybe his wife has more T than most women.
