I think Lucifer has better things to do than bring down something its people are already doing a great job of bringing down.
Satan has one agenda, and one agenda only. To hurt God. Since God loves us, his easiest rout to do so is through us. Namely keeping us from Him. Since this has been going on for around 6000 years or so, America is just a blip on the screen.
