I Bought My First Lotto Ticket
I bought my first lotto ticket yesterday. I am 40 and I never played the lotto.
I never played the lotto because my dad had a gambling addiction. But I figured it wouldn't hurt this once (I wonder if that is what my dad thought).
Everyone at work was playing too.
Have you ever bought a lotto ticket?

A whole lot of people I know keep posting about it on facebook. I don't know about the lottery, my luck is backwards, I'd just be giving them my money.
I've been given lottery tickets from time to time, but I've never bought one. A local gas station celebrated their anniversary by handing out lottery tickets to everyone who bought gas. That inspired me to write my best Christmas newsletter ever, in which I claimed we had been given a winning ticket, bought new cars, built a house overlooking the lake, bought our way onto a space shuttle mission, and won the Nobel Prize for Science among many other whoppers. Half my family believed it.
Nope... I told my husband he should. lol My father has won a couple hundred before...

Funny story, though. My mom was in walmart today and some random guy asked her if she wanted a ticket. He said his boss wanted everyone to have a chance to win, so he was just handing them out. LOL. So my mom, of all people, has a loto ticket tonight. bahaha. *I hope she wins* ;)

I almost bought my first ticket today, but the lines were too long.

2/3 of a billion dollars will entice a lot of people to buy a ticket. I usually buy one, my wife is a fan of lotto.
My first one was tonight . . . at the persistent requests of my finace. There's five bucks, gone.
I bought some for the last two drawings. Didn't win anything at all.
Nope,and I just roll my eyes when I see people buying ticket after ticket.I don't get te wanting to get rich thing at all.But I'm not a material person so I guess I wouldn't understand.
