The War On Pubic Hair
I was reading an article about a doctor who feels we need to end the war on pubic hair.
She said women who get bikini waxes are at risk of infections. Here is the link: Link
Even some women say they prefer men who are waxed or have little hair.
Do you think we need to end the war on pubic hair?

Sorry to pip in, but yes I do. The chihuahua look still seems pre-pubescent to me. I'm not much of a pedophile.
Can't even believe I'm posting in this... but yeah. People are insane with body hair in general. I particularly hate when people actually say that hair "is disgusting" and that shaving is "hygienic". Hygiene is hygienic... not shaving/waxing.
Ya know, As one who shaves..I don't enjoy it! If it wasn't such a "gross" thing in the public eye not to shave it, i wouldn't. Just being honest here. its more of a hassle anyways! Maybe once and a while to get a "fresh start" but not all the time like now. Public only focus's on how people look rather then anything else now a days and lets be realistic we are all even the tiniest bit shallow.
God put it there for a reason so it makes sense man wants to get rid of it.He has been trying to undermine God since the beginning.
Hmmm, since you opened this can of worms, Dan, I wish you'd pitch in your view as well, do you want to see waxing waning? You generally stir the cauldron and watch it spin, you stir for a bit too, please.
It depends. In my opinion, things just look much more "tidy" when it's nice and groomed. I mean, if we go by @Somefishytales - and say "god put it there for a reason" then why do we shave our faces and cut our hair?
It's about aesthetics, right?
@mr_jin_tonic - Keeping yourself groomed is one thing,total shaving is another.I think there is a big different between and face and a twat....well,with most folks hahahaha

I think the war on pubes started as a result of people just in general being afraid of sex. They want sex, but only if it's sanitized, nothing jiggles or looks funny, and over in ten minutes.

I don't care where people shave or wax, though I would rather not see pubes sticking out around swim suit bottoms!
shaving is such a hassle, and waxing I hear hurts like a bitch. I see nothing wrong with keeping it trimmed and in ur panties, ex. The bikini line...but what's a lil hair down there gonna hurt?

I prefer the shaved look, personally. But to each their own.
@AllTrades - I don't know any stranger who knows the status of my carpet, so I don't see your point. If you don't want to shave it, then don't.
@mr_jin_tonic - Well, if your head is between your ass, I guess shaving your face and shaving your girly/boy bits is the same.
I find it quite odd anyone would be freaked out by their adult hair. Like they aren't mature enough to grow up.
Money being spent on bikini waxes could be better spent on books!

My OB/GYN has said that for years. No one needs to sport the "Don King" look, but even closely trimmed hair will help allow the natural bacterial flora to maintain sufficient numbers to prevent candida overgrowth. Personally, I think that shaved bare men look unattractive. I dated a guy who preferred some pubic hair so that it didn't feel like he was having sex with a "four year old". Then again, I went on a date with a man who chose to discuss his views on pubic hair .... on our first date
.... He announced that he hoped I was shaved because he didn't "go down" on women with hairy muffs. I told him that I was glad he cleared that up for me. When he excused himself to go to the restroom, I flagged down the waitress, paid for my cocktail/tip, and asked her to tell him that I had an emergency and had to leave.
I agree with angelwingfive. Too many people are afraid of sex so they want to sanitize the joy right out of it. I'm over that crap. I'm not 25 and I won't apologize for it. I'm living in a "lived in" body. Deal with it. LOL

It's the corporations, Dan. We have to go after those who are selling all those waxing and shaving supplies.
A friend recently went to get a full wax and ended up with bumps so severe that she had to go get an antibiotic, it was awful she said.
