Myself. I think most people are that way. We hold ourselves to a higher standard than we do others.

Others, because it takes a lot to win my trust in the first place and more to gain it back. I usually care for others, so I have grace on myself when I make mistakes.
The concept of self forgiveness is ridiculous. Nobody does something wrong with the expectation that it will result in bad things for them - that's just an unfortunate consequence that sometimes occurs. If you feel guilty about what you did, you don't get over it by forgiving yourself. You get over it by fixing it to the best of your ability then not doing it any more

You generally would need to forgive another person, because they have wronged or hurt you in some way.
You can't really wrong yourself...so you'd have no reason to ever forgive yourself for anything.
Its very hard for me to forgive someone for something they've done to me. And once forgiven, what's even harder to accomplish..is forgetting.
