In a bed. I've not slept in a bed since. I actually do sleep on the floor with exceptions. Most women prefer sleeping in beds so I defer but once she's out the door I'm back on the floor.

I lost mine to a hooker on Santa Monica Blvd. at the age of 21. The ad for the "massage parlor" they called them back then offered a "free record album". To this day, I call that my $100.00 record. (It was by the band Rhinosceros and I still have it, although not my virginity.) Then I discovered free love and flower power.
It was all downhill from there.

still have mine! haha! In all seriousness, I have never been in a serious enough relationship where I would want to loose my virginity. If you are not living with a girl, nor marrying her, then its best not to have sex. To me, when you have sex, you are giving yourself to your partner. Sex is not meant to be something every dating couple does. Just my opinion =)
