Now I think the Democrats and President Obama have a point that is worthy of our discussion.

I can imagine what a typical day is like for a stay at home mom.

She starts by sleeping in until 9:00 a.m.  She gets up and pops some food in the microwave for a child or two.  (This is until they go to school).

She then gets on the Internet.



She then ignores the child as she surfs xanga.  I was sick today and it was fun messaging all of the stay at home moms all day.

She then microwaves dinner or puts in an oven.  She probably throws the dishes in a dishwasher.



She then hands the child back over to her husband when he gets home and talks about how hard her day was.



She then relaxes back on xanga.

Do stay at home moms really work?

I read an article about Governor Walker repealing what is called an "Equal Pay Law" in Wisconsin.  It is my understanding that the law just made it easier to sue someone that people felt were discriminating.




How they say women make 75-77% of what a man makes. 

It is my understanding that most of that relates to women having babies and then missing out on years of their careers.  But in cases were women worked for an equal amount of years, that the pay is almost exactly the same.  Here is the link:  Link (Quantumstorm)
