Radar the Giant Horse

This is Radar. He is a Belgian draft horse. He is the World's tallest living horse. He is 6 feet seven and a half inches tall just from his hoof to his shoulder. He weighs 2400 pounds. He eats 18 pounds of grain, 40 pounds of hay and drinks 20 gallons of water every day.

I love the draft horses. :^) They're so beautiful and when they run they look so light. Very sweet animals too. :^)

as a child i lived on a farm, in the summertime, outside of madison, wisconsin....we had a horse there, that was pretty monstrous....he was a good 6 inches shorter,and 300 pounds lighter, but was none-the-less impressive.....the most gentle animal that you could have met..........thanks for sparking the memory.........peace..........animal
