Shots: Taking it in the Arm or the Butt?
I went to the doctor today because I had a rash on my legs. I wasn't sure what caused it.
But I had to get a steroid shot and so the doctor asked me if I wanted it in the arm or in the butt. I didn't have to think. I told her I would take it in the arm. I asked her if there was any advantage in getting it in the butt and she told me, "No."
So for the rest of the day I have been wondering why they offer. Do people really pick the butt?
If you were getting a shot, would you take it in the arm or in the butt?

Life in Prison for Rape When the Boy Was 13
I was just reading an article about whether it was cruel and unusual punishment to give a life sentence to a juvenile that committed an adult crime.
The Supreme Court will be hearing a case on the issue.
In the article, a story was told about a guy named Joe Sullivan. He was sentence to life in prison for raping an elderly woman. He was 13 when he raped the elderly woman. Here is the link: Link
Is it cruel and unusual punishment to sentence a 13-year-old to life in prison for a rape?

If Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan Had Been a Christian
I was watching FoxNews tonight and Bill O'Reilly had as a guest Bernie Goldberg.
The topic of the show was Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan who killed or was responsible for the deaths of 13 people.
Apparently Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan said, "Allah is great" before killing the people.
Bernie Goldberg pointed out that the liberal media has gone out of their way to suggest that we be careful to not focus on the fact that he was Muslim.
Bernie suggested that if Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was a Christian, it would be the headlines. It is interesting because I believe that is true. There is a constant attack against Christians but we have to be careful to ignore a religious attack by a Muslim.
In addition, we have to hear about the killing of an abortion doctor even though it was the doctor who was a Christian that was killed in church by a person who was an anti-government extremist. Then we also have to hear people point back to the Crusades that took place over 500 years ago. Once again, the Christian bashers have to go back 500 years to find a really good example of bad Christian behavior but those same people are unable to speak against bad Muslim behavior that has taken place in the last 8 years.
Do you think Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan would have been treated differently in the media if he was a Christian?

Islam - The Religion of Peace
Major Nidal Malik Hasan killed or was responsible for the deaths of 13 people today on a military base and injured at least 30 more.
We are learning he is Muslim so the media is doing their part in letting us know that his actions are not consistent with the religion of peace. Here is the link: Link
I can only think of one person that killed an abortion doctor and that guy was denounced by every Christian I know. In fact, he probably wasn't even a Christian. For the most part, Christians are just peaceable people. But Muslims appear to be so violent.
Do you think Islam creates an environment of violence?
