This holiday not only brings us to the point of remembering those who made a great sacrifice on our behalf, it also brings us to a time when some of us are taking our first trip to the area pool.

I packed the family into the car and we went for a swim.  We arrived at the pool and it was time to take my shirt off at the pool.  I have put on a few pounds over the winter.  But it really doesn’t matter because I didn’t see anyone I know.  Then all of a sudden our former neighbors walk by and begin a conversation.  We talk and settle in to the same location to begin the swim. 

So I was placed in the position of removing my shirt in front of them.  It isn’t that I am shy but I wasn’t feeling swimsuit ready.  I finally got up the courage and removed my shirt and stood topless in front of them. 

Do you feel swimsuit ready?

Have you noticed the number of people who will write “Happy Memorial Day?”  I am not sure why people wish others a Happy Memorial Day.  It appears funny that we would wish others happiness on a day that is designed to remember those who have died.

I guess it is sort of like going up to someone a year after their father passed away and saying “Happy Anniversary of your Father Passing Away.”

I was with a friend a while back and she was mentioning another person that we both knew.  She suggested that she thought there were probably problems in their relationship.  The reason she thought there were problems in the relationship was because the woman was dressing in what she thought was a provocative manner.  I didn’t think there was anything to it.  I just found out last week that she suddenly left him.

Does certain types of dress suggest that a person is trying to make themselves available?
