One Hydrocodone puts me to sleep for 8 hours. A fistful should be more than enough to put a human down. Accidental? Taking two doses is an accident. Taking a fistful is suicidal. It’s definitely attention getting behavior.

yes. i think he accidentally overdosed. his publicist freaked out and as part of her job, made it sound a lot worse than it is. then the police who took the report probably blew it up even more. next thing you know, a bad drug interaction is a 35 pill overdose. it just became a runaway train. but i’m not surprised it started with TO – accidental or not.
It’s hard to say, my brother is a moron screw up who eats 14 xanax at a time for his high.

he was probably using it for drugs and it was an accident. i know a lot of people who almost die because they are abusing medicines. it isn’t attempts at suicide it is attempts at stupidity. successful attempts…

No. I think that he did attempt suicide. 1. He was too dumb to do it right, and 2. he just went through a phase. But I agree with streetlights. No one really cares about a depressed sports star. If GWB was depressed, and attempted suicide, that’d be big news. Big GOOD news.
I wrestled in highschool and I was frequently sore…I took a lot of pain meds. If I had pain meds as strong as he probably has access to, then I would probably OD too.

Pain meds can reallly mess you up, so can herbal supplements. And it is worse if you are in shape. I kind of tend to believe him.

I don’t know, I watched his live press conference and the man’s eyes were welling up pretty badly. So I’m guessing he is either very grateful to be alive after an unfortunate accident or overwhelmed at the amount of people who care about him after his life was almost ended.

All this Terrell Owens stuff reminds me of the Browns-Eagles game I went to. The Dawg Pound chanted “T.O. SUCKS!” at least once a quarter, and someone the signs said things like “T.O. had B.O.” Or “T.O. – Totally Overrated.” That was a fun game, even if Cleveland lost.
When I take 5 percosets, or vicodin, or if I’m really lucky, oxycontin, I am not trying to commit suicide.

no i don’t buy his story, especially when you consider that it is against the law in most states to attempt suicide. if he admits he attempted suicide, he could face criminal charges. “accidental” overdose at least avoids that outcome.
i hope, in either case, he gets some professional counseling.

Another case of the media exploiting bullshit, when they should be covering real news. Did he/didn’t he. NOT news, its speculation and gossip. It shouldn’t be up to the police to decide whether or not it was “accidental” I’d leave that conclusion to the doctors who treated him

I wish the media (even local, not national) cared so much when it was one of my teenager clients who “might have” engaged in an act of self-harm. At least if TO was truly wanting to kill himself, he has incredible amounts of money and other resources to help him get to a better place. . .

No, He is great on the field but seems to be an idiot off of it. The paramedics had to pump his stomach and that is not a normal procedure for a broken hand. Wait is he Mike Tyson’s brother? Well they sure are following the same story line.
