None are painful to look at. I think they speak volumes for themselves. Now, for the other side, I used to have EVERY one of those piercings. I have them taken out for now, but, if I really wanted to, I could put my jewelry back in. Just speaks to a time in my life.
The tongue, because I was already aware of how much it hurts.
All of them are rediculous. I can tell you that such nonsence can adversely effect your chances of getting the job you may want, especially if you work with the public, and you are the firt encounter a customer has with a company. You know what they say about first impressions.
The tongue and the nipple one are tied for me.
I saw a picture of a Prince Albert piercing once. I always thought those sounded painful, but I’ve heard they’re actually not that painful. But still…even the thought of it makes me squirm.

The thought of getting my nips pierced give me the heebee geebee’s, but when I witnessed my friend getting his ear pierced, I had to lay down cuz I was going to faint. guess I’m not meant for any of that stuff.

Lip piercings aren’t very attractive. Nose studs look like shiny zits. I’ve got my eyebrow pierced, which is one you left out of the list. You should also include naughty bit piercings in your list, cause those aren’t always attractive. I knew one guy who pierced his own penis. Three barbells on the underside and a Prince Albert. I wonder how many people get tattoos and piercings just to look cool or impress someone rather than just to please themselves.

I have my tongue and eyebrow done. both hurt terribly.
i’ve had my septum pierced and the side of my nose pierced. the septum is supposed to be the most paintful piercing, however, the guy who did mine has been featured in magazines and such as a world renouned piercer – when i got the side of my nose done, i was in a different state and couldn’t go to my guy. so i went somewhere that i found that was clean. it was a new place, and even though the guy was only doing the side of my nose, he didn’t know what he was doing and took a verrrrrrry long time putting the needle in and went very slowly. so i guess what i’m saying is, it’ll hurt more if the person piercing doesn’t have experience, no matter what you get pierced.

Someday pink plastic flamingos will be a collectors item, you’re right. And I think that someday is already today. People are going nuts on ebay and such, a lot of online stores that carry lawn flamingos are out of stock, even out of the crappy ones. It’s quite silly.

If by painful you mean which hurts the most I can say I have had several of those done, and you haven’t listed the correct one. Cartlidge hurt me most followed by tongue.

There’re two short, emo freshmen in my high school with double lip piercings. They occasionally put big rings in them. I can’t imagine how awkward that would be, hardly being able to close your tiny mouth around these two giant things in your lip. Ugh, nasty.

well the grossest one to look at is the nose. How do you clean all the boogers out of your nose with something pierced in it? ewww! the tounge would probably be more painful AND annoying. Sure people get them because of oral sex, but the people that do don’t see what happens when they get infected and the pus forms and their tounge swells up. Not pretty. Plus in the REAL world, people that have tounge piecings have spittle issues and they lisp when they talk. VERY attractive….NOT!
Nipple piercing would come next. Anyone that has ever breastfed knows what is is like to have mastitis. if the person got the piercing to enhance sexual pleasure there ARE alternatives.
Last night I dreamt that I had my lip and tongue pierced. Weird. I only have my ears pierced 5 times and my nose pierced in real life.

Um, you obviously don’t know anything about nose piercings. The back is flat and it’s right up against the wall of your nose. It’s small too. Having a cold after I got my nose pierced was just like having a cold before I got it pierced. I can pick, blow, rub, or do anything with my nose as I please. The stud is too small to really do anything. I forget it’s there a lot of the times.
If you don’t know what you’re talking about…then don’t talk. Simple as that.

All of them probably hurt for a bit, but it heals eventually. I personally wouldn’t pierce my nipples, but I’m sure it’s a lot less painful than a lot of your commentors think it is. I used to think ear cartilage piercing, nose piercing, and tattooing would be SUPER painful–but after getting all 3 done I realized that it was mostly just me being nervous. Non-lobe piercings don’t really hurt as much as most people think they do.
Tongue then nipple, but only because the tongue looks disturbing with two (it’s like a face!) and you can hardly see the piercings for the nipples. I would be more reluctant to get a nipple piercing though. :shudder:
