Cheer [if you consider that a sport, unlike moi]?
woo! i was right. and I just watched ‘bring it on’ today, it’s a hard sport.
Hockey?
I don’t appreciate that. Women can do everything men can do. I really don’t think gender has anything to do with strength or resistance of pain.
But if I was forced to answer: rugby.
Diving
Or cheer leading.
Rugby
“I really don’t think gender has anything to do with strength or resistance of pain”
Then you live in a fantasy world. But so many do live in that same fantasy world as you , don’t feel do bad about being both ignorant and blind, you are far from alone.
gymnastics, boxing, rugby, wrestling
after clicking the link,
cheerleading stunts are based off of gymnastics moves.
lacrosse, and soccer.
I had already read the story yesterday or I would not have thought of cheerleading as a sport anymore than think dance is a sport. Not to belittle it at all, but a sport? If so then professional wrestling is a sport at well.
Cheerleading.
cheerleading.
Sex. It leads to children.
i’d say cheerleading, partly because i was going to actually say it, partly becuase a previous commenter guessed it and then had to post again saying they got it right
although cheerleading is hardly a sport
I didnt check out the link, but I will chooose FOOTBALL
volleyball, but my sister did powerlifting and she was just fine.
now I’ll read the link…
oh well my roommate is a cheerleader, and that doesn’t surprise me. what she finds, teaching cheerleading, is that girls (and boys) who learn cheerleading at school aren’t learning the safety they need to go with all those cool tricks.
I would’ve said football…
I should have guessed it would be cheerleading
Full contact competitive blindfolded wushu motorcross… Either that or cheerleading.
My guess is cheerleading.
I would of guessed gymnastics…
rugby
I think I read something awhile back about cheerleading.
Guessed it! I believe high school cheerleading causes more injuries than all other girls’ sports combined.
um, rugby, field hockey, lacrosse, ice hockey?
I’m going to assume cheerleading
And I’m right =]]
i bet it’s going to be cheerleading.
even though i think they could prevent stupid accidents..
I cheated!
That’s what I thought it was anyway though
baseball? maybe that’s just because I came from a game where multiple kids got hurt in a game..
Lacrosse or soccer.
Or cheerleading, if you actually count it as a sport.
Sports that isn’t surpervised or done without trained persons is the dangerous sports………
King Kong Anal Midget Fist Fuck Tentacle Robot Porn Cheerleader Hentai try-outs?
field hockey?
after clicking the link, I guess that makes sense. I mean, you are throwing people in the air and such…
gymnastics or cheerleading… I agree w/ xstepherz “cheerleading stunts are based off of gymnastics moves”
my cousin once sustained a head injury that triggered epilepsy… thou I think she still cheered just stopped gymnastics
I always thougth both “sports” were …kooky
field hockey, lacrosse or cheerleading
probably prostitution….. wait, what? that’s not a sport well how bout rugby
i would guess maybe cheerleading. or field hockey. but itll prolly end up being like. sqaush or something

I guessed lacrosse. But then, I thought you said sports.
i was thinking lacross but i was def wrong.
Just out of my ass I’ll say lacrosse.
cheerleading.
I watch CSI and the like.
woot! I was right.
cheerleading! Ha, I cheated.
My sister is an amazing cheerleader. This makes me nervous now.
my journalism class wrote a story about that a couple months back!
Cross country – around here they sometimes get attacked by deer.
I got hit with a lacrosse ball, and it hurt .
Cheerleading aint just the simple “Fire cracker-fire cracker-boom-ditty-boom” anymore , like it was when I was a kid.
Roller derby?
oops i hovered over the link and found out it was cheerleading hehehe ^^; but initially i thought it was pole vaulting.
aw, that’s not fair. i don’t consider cheerleading a sport. only competetive.
oh well.
Cheerleading..
People can be thrown in the air and dropped.
They can fall off complicated pyramids…
Oh what fun!
Just in case you don’t read comments from past writings..

I live 2 minutes away. Write about it!
Lacrosse?
Cheer [if you consider that a sport, unlike moi]?

I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t consider cheerleading a sport. It’s much tougher than a lot of
“sports” and requires mad body control and skill. What IS a sport if that isn’t it?
basketball
Cheerleading, because most of the people who do it are too stupid to practice caution.
video games. We just don’t have the skills
cheerleading is not a sport. and neither is golf.
barefisted boxing
I’d say its sports like soccer and basketball and other sports where you have to cut and turn on a dime–The reason I say this is because I’ve heard that women athletes are significantly more likely to tear an ACL.
dan, i think you have an unhealthy obsession with cheerleaders…
rugby… i guess because theres no pads.
yeah, cheerleading too – those crazy stunts and flips. ouch!
there no padding fir hits and sometimes stunts and flips are done of the gorund, gym floor, or concrete.
Daniel (doubledb)
Rugby.
weird.
cheerleading. duh
i say wrestling
Soccer. Back in the days in H.S. I have a friend that play soccer and every time I see her she fracture a different part of her body. I thought that must be a dangerous sport.
I was right too! I used to be one so yeah.. *ouchies*
All this does is prove that cheerleaders are stupid.
Just kidding around; I hold high respect for people who can do a backflip in front of hundreds – maybe thousands – of people and feel secure enough to do that in a tiny skirt that doesn’t cover her and a tiny shirt that doesn’t have much more fabric than my underwear.
And every sport has different risks, it’s not easy to classify one as more dangerous than the other.
skydiving
It would be kind of hard for anyone.
field hockey or softball.
Cheerleading?
Score one for XA!!!
It’s cheerleading. Read it in Reader’s Digest
Cheerleading or field hockey?
I was thinking soccer originally, but the question made me think it’d be somewhat unexpected and then I thought of cheerleading.
I’d hate it if my kid got injured doing something so pointless.
As a response to what was mentioned earlier, men are naturally stronger than women. There are exceptions (named Butch), but it’s a fact of life. That doesn’t make men inherently better as people (although it often does make them better at sports). You can say what you want, like “There are some women who could beat you at basketball,” or whatever, but look at the NBA and the WNBA. Two worlds apart. Very far apart.
Cheerleading is not a sport. You may have to be athletic to do some of that stuff, but it doesn’t make it a sport. Of course, it comes down to how you define “sport” really.
woah…that’s messy.
Cheerleading…… it’s very dangerous, & it’s always annoyed me that many states do not consider it a sport.
Oh, & the release the dd signs to cheer DOES say that it can lead to Serious Injuries, & or Death.
I didn’t think of cheerleading, but after reading the article I can see why it’s most dangerous. I mean, come on–it’s gymnastics without the spotters and squishy mats. Pretty stupid, in my opinion… but they don’t ask me, now, do they? Or anyone with any common sense or wishes for their well-being, either. :/
DEFINITELY WATER POLO in my opinion. This is without looking at the link or any other commenters so I could be very far off, however, this is definitely my personal experience.
Without looking at the link I would say Fast pitch softball. *goes to check link*
cheerleading easily
basketball is probably second
Oh, cheerleading. A lot of my friends who are cheerleaders have been injured, so I can see how this is true. I was thinking more of between the two competing teams in the question.
even before i saw the other comments i knew it was cheerleading. during on performance at my school a girl cracked her head open and had to be rushed to er
To anyone who says women don’t have the kind of pain tolerance as men, I say…Which one can give birth without pain killers? Also, not every woman who is strong is a butch woman! What a steroetypical statement!
Oh man. That is horrible.
oh and to respond to people who say cheerleading is not a sport…lmao. side thought, why is curling in the winter olympics?
but anyways…here’s a dictionary definition of sport:
“an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature”
Emulating Britney Spears.
Cheerleading (especially the pyramids and throws) by untrained, wannabe gymnasts.
And cheerleading is not a sport. It’s a way to suppress girls and make them follow boys around to all THEIR games.
I’m biased. My daughter is a gymnast, for the sport – NOT a cheerleader!
Cheerleading…
Thought probably was rugby, but never occur to me that it can be cheer leading
acrobatics/cheerleading
Yeah, you know it’s Cheerleading. Where else can you fall from a 20′ pyramid onto your head without a helmet?
Rugby.
It has to be gymnastics.
I would have guessed track.
I definitely would say Rugby. I went to a match the other day, and about 60% of the players ended up bleeding from some orifice.
For your ACL the most dangerous sport for women is soccer…
I think people would be more inclined to consider cheerleading a sport if it wasn’t all about sex these days. Cheerleaders at my high school (keeping in mind that I graduated seven years ago) wore skirts so short you could see their butts hanging out of their panties and wore midrifff tops. Now, that might be sexy, but it’s hard to take someone who dresses like that seriously at all.
Lacrosse.
gymnastics
Gymnastics or cheerleading.
Field Hockey. Its a fringe cult at my old high school.
