  • Videoblogging

Check out these sites that are videoblogging:

You will recognize this girl:  Link  Go tell her how to fall asleep.

This is someone I just found:  Link  This girl is going to take over xanga.  Watch all three of her videos and you will see why.

I think videoblogging where a person basically does their daily post on webcam is a great option for those who have webcams.

  • Google Maps

Go to www.google.com.  Hit the map button.  In the top bar, type “Chicago to London.”  Hit “search maps.”  Or just go to this link:  Link  Look at instruction # 20.  It will tell you to swim across the Atlantic Ocean.

What internet map do you like to use?

  • Heaven

Who do you think God is more likely to let into heaven, a good atheist or a bad Christian?

  • Accusations of Rape

I was reading an article that was quoting from the Fox News program “Red Eye.”

    News

On the program, a few people were discussing the Duke rape case.  They were discussing what should happen if the charges were dropped against the guys in the Duke rape case.  Some of the conversation centered around if charges should be brought against the woman who claimed she was rape if the charges were dropped against the men.

The woman on the program, Rachel Marsden, said “Charges are laid, charges are dropped.  It happens all the time. Unless she can get charged with mischief and they can prove she lied, then no, [she shouldn't be punished]. That’s the process and the process works.”

The response of the man to this comment is what I want to focus on.  Greg Gutfeld asked “Don’t you think that being accused of rape is as bad as being raped?”  Here is the link:  Link

Do you think that being accused of rape is as bad as being raped?

  • Running Up the Score

A high school softball team won a fastpitch softball game 64-0.  The game has caused discussion on fair play.  The team kept playing the best that they could the whole game.  There are those that believe that once a team develops a certain lead, it is good sportsmanship to ease up and not run up the score.  Here is the link:  Link

Is it bad sportsmanship to keep scoring points once your team develops a big lead?

  • Minimum Wage

Convicted sex offenders are demanding they receive minimum wage.  They all work at a state facility.  They have served their sentence but are considered too dangerous to be released.  So instead they work at Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center.  They work while they are receiving treatment.

They used to receive $6.50 an hour.  But their wages were dropped to $2.00 an hour to cut cost.  Their argument is that they are no longer inmates but patients so they deserve minimum wage.  Here is the link:  Link

Should the convicted sex offenders be paid minimum wage?

  • Tattoos

The Marines are about to ban certain kind of tattoos. (This issue was sent to me via the message box by http://www.xanga.com/HEBCHILL).

Starting Sunday, they will ban “new, extra-large tattoos below the elbow or the knee.”  Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James T. Conway said “I believe tattoos of an excessive nature do not represent our traditional values.”

Tattoo artist Jerry Layton at the Body Temple Tattoo Studio in Oceanside said “These are guys that are dying in the war.  They can fight, but they can’t get a tattoo? It’s ridiculous.”

Do you think tattoos undermine the “traditional values” of the military?

  • Games

    Sudoku, crossword puzzles or solitaire?

  • Kissing Booth

A very attractive news anchor is participating in a “kissing booth” in order to raise money for animals of Hurricane Katrina.

    Kerri-Lee Halkett

Kerri-Lee Halkett will be in the kissing booth that will benefit cats and dogs that were left without homes from Hurricane Katrina.  Here is the link:  Link

I don’t care how hot she is I wouldn’t want to kiss someone that has kissed a bunch of other people.  Plus I can’t imagine having to kiss whoever was in the line if I was in her position.

What celebrity would you like to catch in a kissing booth?

  • Feeding the Homeless

Certain cities are making it more difficult to feed the homeless.

They are creating rules about where these homeless people can be given food.  They are requiring permits and they are limiting the number of free meals they can give them.

Although there are a few reasons given, the main focus of these laws appear to be the concern about crime and the damage to tourism.  Here is the link:  Link

Should a city place limits on the feeding of the homeless?
