Xanga and High School
I have read so many posts here recently comparing xanga to high school. I also saw this post by suggestivetongue.
That got me thinking about the various positions to be filled.

In High School I was definitely a loner. Not in the typical sense though. I went to classes, then came home. I didn’t like hanging around school. I hung out at home or outside of school with my friends.
That’s what I’d be, what I was….but that was a long time ago.
I was also voted Most School Spirit and Class Leader.

none of ‘em. heck, i don’t even fit into a category at my school, and i’m glad i don’t. i’d say smart kids, but i’m failing 2/4 honors classes, hehe. math and chem are definitely not my strongest points in school.

I’d be exactly what I was in high school, the guy the floated between the social classes and had friends in all of them. If anything I’d be the smart kid, but I don’t try hard enough to be seen as smart.
I was in theater, but I was the sound tech, so I don’t think that counts.

uh… i kinda use xanga to escape my high school life… so, after being faced with the probability of being in another form of high school, i’d probably run and hide in the corner and just be labled as the weird freaky girl that smells like ciggaretes and no one talks to.
I think I’m similar to how I was in HS – on the fringes and flitting between different circles. Friends everywhere and no real home base.

I was the druggie who didn’t do drugs. I hung out with all the skaters the first to years, most of whom cross lines in to druggie, I saw and smelled A LOT of drugs in high school, but didn’t do any!

Outsider. I have gone couple days without talking to anyone and no one notice including my teacher. Eat lunch alone and never went to the prom.
I have been told by some classmate they think I’m very nice, sweet, and smart. Most of them classified me as a nerd. But, even I know I’m good enough to be a nerd.

After school, I would see the guys pimpen’ their game with girls..but of course, I’m with them cuhs they’re my friends. The theater kids always act like drama queens..but then again, I love to be loud as hell. So when I get bored, and since my school was ghetto as fuck. We always be messin’ around. The nerds and geeks I would meet up for ASB and CLUBS to gather up ideas..since we’re smart ass kids..Ha, and time to time – I could be a bully , too..well fuck. All my friends were ..They were mos’ definitely sometimes emo though..

I was one of the smart kids that ruled the school. Capitan of every team, president of every club. It was actually a lot of fun!

I didn’t see a choice called “shy” … I was extremely shy back in the day and people who know me now can’t believe I was ever that way. I did theatre, debate, choir … artsy stuff, but was very much an introvert when not participating in those specific things.

If Xanga were a high school?!
Dan; I’m looking forward to my FORTIETH high school reunion this year. (South Houston High, Class of ’69.) It’s a little difficult, from my Ancient Standpoint, to relate to that scene. Kids don’t change, though… although every generation (my own certainly included!) thinks they’re special and unique. But even us Baby Boomin’ types eventually put it behind us! Therefore, that question of your’s is a difficult one, to say the least.
Note: That Ashley Tisdale character really cracks me up. There’s one in every class!

You left one out for the girls the pregnant girl. i am 17 and i just had my son 6 months ago and i am still in high school i was when i was pregnant and i am now i will be graduating next year and have no intensions of dropping out. i also intend to go to college not only do i go to school and take care of my son but i also have a part time job. remember pregnant high school girls can still make it if they want to.
