Legal High
I was reading an article about a Chemist who was producing drugs that people could get high from and it is not illegal.
The drugs are produced for animals and are labeled “not for human consumption.” He basically creates drugs that give a high and produce the same results as cocaine and heroin. But as soon as the drugs are made illegal, he stops making them and produces a new drug. So he never gets arrested. Here is the link: Link
Would you be more likely to try a drug if you knew it was legal?

No thanks, I’ll stick to weed.
Wouldn’t it be easier to legalize Cannabis?
Nah… Not interested in doing drugs.
Nope. Drugs are icky.
Read the article, he’s not doing this in America, in America, it’s still illegal.
No.
Meh. Not really. Though I wouldn’t mind a vicodin like pill now and again.
But yea, GHB became GBL, There’s about 50-60 amphetamine analogs, etc.
@Uek - I think he gets around that by labeling it “not for human consumption” which appears to be a requirement for the law you cite.
@Uek - Read paragraph 6 of the article.
@MedicMark - Again, not in America. In the EU, sure, GBL is labeled for cleaning wheels, but you buy it in small quantities(for human consumption). Read up on anyone who’s ever challenged the DEA on part C, they get crushed. They go to jail, their lives are over. Pat comes to mind (he’s still active, and still broke as a joke).
Nah.
@Uek - lol – sure. It’s all a little too vague if you ask me.
probably not. just as i wouldn’t do cocaine or heroin. too sketchy.
@striemmy - yea, that’s about Salvia, which is also a beautiful part of the analog act. If you can prove it occurs in nature, you can sell naturally procured product. What was the name of that stim that the pitcher died from in like 01? Synthetic is illegal, natural is not, though they are obviously chemically the same.
@MedicMark - It’s meant to be that way. Chemistry is evolving FAST. That’s why many people are advocating for frozen specimens in the Olympics, so that way we can go back, and test in the future when we actually have a test.
@WordsandThoughts - LOL LOL @infinitelyalex - I agree because those two are especially addictive drugs. In fact I made it this long in life without trying heroin so I think I’d still pass, why pick up an addiction now? Ick!
Well I’ve not yet had an energy drink . . .
lets just legalize weed please =]idk about the whole legal=better thing, spice is legal and it’s worse for you than old mary jane….
No, not into chemicals, I’ll stick with the herb!
I’ll let this song explain my thoughts.
Nope.
No way… I barely trust what is legal!
Legal isn’t the issue, ADDICTIVENESS is.
of course i would.
BRILLIANT idea, but um..NO.
Depends on the drug. I won’t smoke anything (I don’t like the idea of fire by my face, and I already have enough lung trouble), nor would I snort anything (it’s just gross). But I’d take a pill or liquid. Never have, but then it’s never been offered to me. Well, I had a friend offer me weed once when I mentioned that it’s never been offered to me, but I declined.
NO anything that alters your mind is dangerous!! what’s wrong with people??
Nope, it seems to dangerous to me. Plus, it seems to easy to get addicted if they really have the same high as coke or heroin.
I wouldn’t do them even if they’re legal.
no.
What a waste of his precious time. I’d rather stick to my blunts.
Nope.
I have no interest in drugs. No matter what a piece of paper said (legal or not) I would not try them.
