I’m dressing up same as every year… can’t resist, even if I don’t really have much to do but hang out with my kids. Making a grand attempt at a costume that looks something like Raven from Teen Titans. The colors are a little off, since I don’t have a purple cloak… it’s black… might use some purple “hairspray” on it as well as my hair to make it look more purple though.
Nah not this year, I’m probably just gonna get a little dressed up and do my makeup all weird haha but im gonna hand out candy! and watch a ton of horror movies! =)
No. I spend the evening dispensing hot cider to the grownups, opening bags of candy, running in the house to check on the dog and the chili, etc. A costume would be in the way. The others dress up, hand out the candy and interact with the kids.
yes, i’m dressing up as Where’s Waldo
No. But my son is and Mr and I are taking him trick or treating.
No. I’m getting a little too old for that, I guess. But I will celebrate Halloween in my own way.
No, but if I was it would be a Hawaiian shirt and carrying around a plastic dinosaur.
No, the Halloween atmosphere is barely here…
I’m dressing up as Rob of the Sky.
nope. I has the ickies.
My costume is a Sunday night surprise! Aw everyone commenting here is saying no like they’re too old/good for the holiday I’m in NYC so Halloween night is just magical in the streets!
@SerenaDante - same here. I see no reason to put on a costume and hang around the house. Maybe if I had a party to go to, but I don’t, and I’m kind of old for trick-or-treating, lol.
I’m dressing up as ItIsAllGravy just for the laughs… kidding.
I have a costume, but nowhere to wear it to (though I did wear it to class on Friday… yay college, haha).
@bridgetrhee - wow, you are awesome. i hope you post about it after, im sure it’s going to be very interesting.
i was thinking of getting a cowboy hat and a badge then carrying a walker around and calling myself “walker: texas ranger”
Got your e-mail about trying to subscribe to me….I’m no longer on Xanga! I’ve moved, but I’ve shared my new blog link with you here and I’ll add you to my reader over there!
@OhItWontBeForever - Wait – no!! We can’t both show up to the party wearing the same thing!!
I don’t know. I’m considering dressing up as a librarian (my glasses, hair in a bun, tweed skirt, cardigan and maybe some sensible tights) to hand out candy.
Of Course! Going as Miss.Freddy Krugar and the daughter is gunna be a bumble bee lol
yep as Sookie Stackhouse :]
Hur, no. I have all these great costume ideas though.
Yep, gonna be a zombie girl and hid behind a bush while my sister is handing out candy and scare the livin’ daylights outta people. It should be quite entertaining.

I did dress up. Most people dress up at my work and they have a big costume contest so I was Minnie Mouse!
@leaflesstree - I’m getting as close as I can to Raven’s costume, but I don’t have the right belt or any of the gems. The one on her head is easy… facepaint works for that. My brother is 27 and has gone trick-or-treating every year of his life… except maybe one or two when my parents decided to get on a “religious” kick and make us go to the church’s “Halloween alternative” party instead. I’m not sure if his wife has let him go these past two years he’s been married… I moved away, so he didn’t have any kids to take with him, but other years, nothing has stopped him.
I went to Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I dressed as a female version of Rocky. Ow ow.

Sigh! Nothing. I could have worn one of my Renaissance outfits if I had been doing anything. It was on a Sunday, I was visiting friends for the weekend and just hanging out and enjoying a big enough kitchen to cook and bake in. I made six things and three were new recipes.
