  • I am a fan of Yuengling, but its not widely distributed so I’m not surprised at its placement.

  • Don’t drink much at all. Don’t know…

  • Augustiner Helles and Schneider Weissbier but you have to be in Bavaria to drink them. The companies export to the U.S. a bit but they are required to change their formula to add preservatives.

It is said, when you drink Budweiser you piss water. When you drink Guinness you piss Budweiser.

    My 2 cents.

  • @TrainTrack – LoL I’m going to have to go with root beer too.

  • From this list, Yuengling.

… But my write-in vote is Pilsner Urquell.

  • I don’t like beer. Don’t tell @Bricker59

  • Steamwhistle ♥

I don’t know much about beer but Steamwhistle is smooth.

fyi, anything under 5% is not acceptable for a beer mile

  • When I was 17, I drank a really good beer.  I drank a really good beer I bought with a fake ID.  My name was Brian McGee, I stayed up late listening to Queen.  When I was 17.

  • As @Skanlyn once said:  I am a Muslim and I am offended by this post.

  • I am a Yuengling man myself, but I had a old German beer on time, the recipe dated back to 1418 and that was FANTASTIC, but it was expensive, so Yuengling it is.

  • BLUE MOON

. a thousand times blue moon.

  • I usually stick with Corona, Yuengling, and Blue Moon when it comes to beer. Although Viet people love Heineken, I find it harder to chug down than the others.

  • I don’t drink but if I did, it’d be Natural Light!

  • On this list, Corona. But Canada has a lot of good microbreweries and those are better than the big commercial ones.

  • Leffe from Belgium!

  • fck that lame ishh. budweiser? coors light?!! softcore and watered down.

    blue moons, shocktop, and IPA.

if im low on feds, i go with mickeys or high life

  • I’m a Yuengling man, but it all depends on draft or bottle. It’s great in draft form, but not so much in a bottle. I think Samuel Adams is a fair assessment, but I never had a Guinness or Dos Equis .

  • I don’t know these beers, but I like Cascade which is made in Tasmania. I don’t drink beer in general but this is one that I can tolerate. I even kind of like two of their variations that are a bit less beer-y haha that makes no sense. They also make great cider!

  • Since moving to my current city, I have been introduced to a plethora of bars (I lived in a dry county before, so beer was a uphill trek 21 miles both ways in the snow) and I always wind up ordering Blue Moon with an orange wedge, followed by whatever mixed drink is on special for the day. But when I drink at home, it’s either Stella Artois, or Sapporo. Or I steal one of my fiancee’s Guinness.

  • blue Pabst Blue Ribbon

  • The best beer is the beer I don”t drink because I am a rotton old lady if I drink.

  • if those?  Stella but my favorite is a toss-up between New Glarus Spotted Cow or Schell’s Firebrick.

  • oh cool! The guy in Assasins Creed III, right? That’s nice. They should really name more stuff after video game characters

  • There’s no such thing as good beer.

  • I don’t drink any alcohol so I would not know.

  • It all tastes like piss to me.

  • I have to jump on the rootbeer band wagon. I do like Samuel Adams, and a few of the others, but I prefer the dark stout ales.

  • I drink a lot of bud and coors simply because it’s more cost effective to buy by the case.  I’m not a have one or two type person which is why I generally only drink maybe once a week.  But I do love me some Black and Tan or Killian’s if I’m going for a six pack.  In fact, on this list I’d really only turn down Guiness simply because it’s too heavy and doesn’t agree with me.

  • Based on that list….Yuengling. But I would rather have a Blue Moon

  • Miller Highlife – for the good life -or original Coors in a longneck bottle from Texas not Oklahoma

  • I used to drink the little malt liquor with the bull on it cause it was stronger and less to vomit up. I never drank for taste -do you?

to me No Beer is good beer now. lol

  • LOL, Root Beer is good with ice cream.  But I’ve had many of those brands before.  I rather enjoy mixed drinks better though.

  • If you had to pick from that list Samuel Adams just might be the best. I do have a better list

  • Picking from the list, it’d be Guinness.

  • @TheSutraDude - Schneider Weissbier no they do not change the formula at all. Preservatives are never added to any beer. Hops are beers preservative. I responded to you because I have had Schneider Weissbier…its wonderful. The problem you are having with the Schneider Weissbier you are finding in the USA. Its old, Weissbier does not age well at all, it needs to be drank as fresh as you can get it

  • Beer tastes like grass, I don’t drink it.

  • @trunthepaige - That could be. I was told otherwise when I lived in Germany in the early 80s but I just now looked up Bavarian Purity Law and learned it was repealed in 1987. I’ve had fresh Schneider Weissbier in NYC a few years ago. There is a very popular German restaurant/pub in the East Village where they serve Schneider on tap. It didn’t taste the same to me but that could have been simply a matter of having fickle taste buds that evening. There are quite a few places Schneider or Erdinger Weissbier can be had in NYC. They are fairly popular beers so I don’t think they stand around too long.

  • @TheSutraDude - NO they don’t but in Germany what you are drinking did not sit warm in a boat for two weeks.  A real German style weissbier is the hardest beer to get in the USA. Our micro brewers have just not mastered it

  • Out of this list I will say Sam Adams indeed.  The only brewery that puts out a lot of different styles.  Honestly thee best beer I have ever had, and this will sound super elitist, Samuel Adams Utopia 2012.  I’ve never had something that strong so subtle and soo smooth..  Second favorite would be Russian River Pliny the Younger.  So bitter it’s sweet.

  • @trunthepaige - I understand the shelf life issue.

  • @TheSutraDude - Its a shame because it really is a beer I love. My father did manage to duplicate the style homebrewing. It became obvious why it is not being made well in the USA. To do it right you need to use a decoction mashing system. very rarely done in the USA so our brewers are not set up for it. And the right yeast which is only suitable for that type of beer. You almost need a brewery that makes nothing but weissbier. Sorry to hit you with one of my obsessions…finding a good US weissbier

  • Boilermakers with made a shot of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey.

  • @trunthepaige - I love it too. It’s awesome your father gave it a shot and figured out what would be necessary to duplicate the beer. I was disappointed once. For several years my favorite helles beer in Germany was Andechs. It was brewed at the Andechs monastery in Bavaria. It was available in Munich but my wife and I made a trip to the monastery. They have a biergarten there. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and watch the occasional monk pass by. We moved back to NYC. Every time we returned to Munich I looked forward to drinking Andechs until the 3rd or 4th. It didn’t taste as good to me. I thought it was me. Later that year we attended the German reception at the U.N. Food, beer and wine was all from Germany, flown in for the occasion by the German Air Force. I got into a conversation with the chef after he came out and mingled. We talked about food and beer. When I told him my favorite helles used to be Andechs but I didn’t care for it anymore he told me the reason. Another brewery bought Andechs beer and changed the formula.

  • @TheSutraDude - The good newis it was not you who changed. In my case sometimes it is me. I used to like Coors

  • @trunthepaige - Haha! I used to like Schlitz and Miller so it’s not just you.

  • i drink organic beer…”the one with the bee on the label”.

  • I never really liked any beer that I ever had until my husband had me try Kostritzer. I like it a lot.

  • There is only one beer and A&W Root is its name.

  • How could Budweiser, Bud Light and Coors Light even make your top 10 list.  Eww

  • german’s beer heineken

  • 9.  Yuengling
