  • Natural Leader

Some people always appear to get promoted at work. They have a natural leadership. People always follow them.

    Are you a natural leader?

  • I usually get drunk when in a leadership position so probably not.

  • I’ve been told so by a few people. I think it’s because I can be persuasive and am unafraid to be so when I see necessary.

  • Being an introvert, I am a kind of leader that most people wouldn’t expect. Being outgoing isn’t always the best quality to judge proper leadership.

  • I’m great at leading committee meetings and teaching children. I don’t think I’d be a good corporate leader. And if I take the lead while geocaching I generally lead us right into a bog or a briar patch.

  • i’m more the opposite

  • Well, I always got promoted at work. And I guess some people follow me naturally because I either know what’s going on or can figure it out. That doesn’t mean that I can’t be a follower, too, though.

  • It’s often (not always) the case that followers, not leaders get promoted. Just say yes, brown nose and you’ll be up for a promotion in the corporate world. Bring up objections and differ in opinion with brass at a meeting and right or wrong you’re likely to see the door before you see the promotion. If it’s the promotion you’re looking for just say yes. The Japanese word for yes is “Hai!” spoken with a bow. Not exactly leadership.

  • The people at the places I have worked have never been promoted because they were leaders – quite the contrary! It has been because they were natural born suck-ups! So much brown all over their noses!

  • leader of the leaderless

  • I didn’t even like having to supervise a few student workers at my last job let alone lead something meaningful. So no, I’m not a natural leader because I don’t want any part of that kind of thing.

  • Nope.  Working on unnatural leadership though.

  • I am the farthest thing from any kind of leader. I think I’ve ruined job applications by answering all of the leadership questions with basically “hell no”. Better off being clear about that then getting myself into a bad position…

  • I don’t think I am good leader,    but in my own little world  maybe.

  • i’m a natural  procrastinator

  • Even though I am more of an introvert. Yes, I am. Ever since elementary school, I seemed to be picked the be group leader. Funny how sometimes life seems to chose you for things. However, I am much more comfortable leading and being in front of people now than I was in the past.

  • Kind of. I can be. I often choose to “turn it off”, though. If no one else is stepping up, then yeah.

  • my roomate’s mother makes $82/hr on the internet. She has been fired for nine months but last month her check was $17879 just working on the internet for a few hours. Go to this web site and read more http://www.mac22.com

  •  i’m pretty laid back, but when I need to step up and take charge i’m more than capable.

  • I can be, but usually I try to keep to myself.

  • Definitely not. At the first sign of trouble I am fucking gooone.

  • No, I’m a follower to the core.  It’s even in my DNA.  I do what other people say.

  • probably not -I like to listen and stay in the background.

  • Yes, I’m a good leader too, people like when I lead because I make sure everyone feels important.

  • Of course I’m a natural leader. I’m tall. ;]
I get promoted everywhere I work.

  • Yes. And bossy.

  • I could be, but nobody ever wants to discuss with me when it seems I got something wrong.  People just jump through hoops to believe there’s something horribly wrong with me and distance themselves.  I admit I do have emotional and mental issues, but they are merely symptoms of isolation.

  • Only if I want to be.

  • In away I like to think I am because I have lived by the seat of my pants and the word “Work” is a four letter word and four letter words should not be spoken…and like the commercial says “I worked to live….I didn’t live to work” Which unfortunetly meant that in the office….no I wasn’t a leader….plus I tended to avoid office politics at all cost. Can’t stand playing the Mind Games that you have to play in order to get ahead in the office work environment….and simply put I was more interested in my Superman figurines that I had on my desk then I was in the politics that surrounded me. No I was not an office leader. And now I don’t even work anymore and can’t for the rest of my life so I think I can become a natural leader in the early retirement field…lol….

  • Not really, but I’m very hard working.

  • Yes, but I dislike being in a leadership position.

  • Only when I get to directly hire my own staff.

  • People don’t think I’m a leader or that I’m capable because I’m quieter than most but I handle a lot more at work than they know. They just don’t notice because I make sure things get done. If there isn’t a problem they don’t notice me.

  • Depends on the situation.  I got my first promotion to full-time (which is kind of like a shift leader) really fast, but I don’t want to be a supervisor.  Too many hours, stress, and politics.  My managers always tell me I’d be a good sup though.

I love training, but but I don’t like confrontation.
