Degree
If you could instantly have a degree in any major and have all the knowledge that came with it, what degree would you want?

I’d be a doctor.
Theology
Make that Medical Doctor.
Medical Doctor Pirate.
equestrine veterinary
which i do:]
English.
MD
I think you overestimate how much knowledge comes with a major.
I’m not really sure on this one. I already got a major and am satisfied with it though.
Nursing
commercial arts? and buisness
i wish i were an oscar mayer wiener…
MD
Something in the sciences… There are too many for me to pick from to name just one though
Not only would it be fun, but I’d never have to worry about being bad at math ever again! lol
Most likely something in music, probably music performance – because I don’t want to direct or teach it. So if I did that, I’d minor in Music Theory.
But aaalso, interior design or photography.
:]
hmmmm something in the arts
Classics. That is, Greek and Latin
mechanical engineering so that i could bypass this college nonsense
Mechanical Engineering. OR Materials Science.
md
Either a classical instrument, the violin or piano, or Computer science. But mostly because I have an CS exam tonight that I’m going to die on.
BS in Nudity, and MS sexual misconduct
MUSIC. Then I wouldn’t have to take so much freaking theory.
A degree in understand what women want … hihihi
Philosophy/English double major.
Nursing… the one I’m doing
Except I’d want my Masters
psychology….phd. so i can quit with school. lol
Theology!
That way I could prove it’s all bullshit.
BFA Fine Arts w/ an emphasis on painting/printmaking.
…with a minor in underwater basket weaving.
A doctor.. I always thought it would be cool to do autopsies.
Or something to do with Physics and Astronomy.
Something related to psychology, nutrition, fitness, or religion. I love those subjects!
But I’d rather be a wife and mom than work
vet
I’d like to have a JD. I don’t want to practice law, but it would be nice to have the degree.
Math. It’s my worst subject, so if I had all the knowledge you could gain from a math degree, I would be able to major in what I really wanted without having to stress out about the Math degree!
Sports Medicine
art/education double major (just like i’m going to school for already.)
I’m already working on the law thing, so a smart route would be to take something that would help me with that
but so far the philosophy BA I have already has helped a lot.
Maybe Music, so I could equal Ben
Masters in Architecture
A degree in computer programming would be helpful to me today.
Marine Science or biology.
Veterinarian
Aerospace Engineering.
theology
I already have music degrees…..I have a teaching job. If I could have ANY degree, it would be a medical degree, so I could be a doctor. Didn’t have the time/money to go to school that long, though.
Law
History!
Sanskrit
Electronic Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
philosophy or economics
law
law
Computer programming/engineering or accounting. Can you get a degree in retirement? That’s really what I would like to have.
Hands down…theology.
PH.D in Physics. ‘Cause it would mean that I actually understand it.
Organ performance.
Piano performance.
Teaching of the gifted and talented, Psychology, English, and History.
Oh, and atleast 7 languages.
let me change that to dentistry.
Phd in medicine. Actually, brain surgery.
PhD in Bioengineering with a focus on neural and synaptic implants.
This way, I could still pursue an M.D., or be on the cutting edge of human prosthetics.
Philosophy or history.
Both for double major.
Either MD or Political Science (but I would need, along with the degree, a personality that would allow me to fully exercise it)
RYC – Thanks Dan We laugh about it now, she wasn’t really upset with me, as it turns out, just frightfully nervous, which is to be expected. The rest of the night actually went really really well, so there is nothing to complain about on that end
Business Admin. Marketing. Graphic Design.
I’ve been an RN for 5 years and I am ready to branch out.
music or automotive technology.
Diagnostics. It’s too insane for me, so I’m going to get the pharmaceuticals knowledge the hard way.
Masters in Mathematics Education & a Masters in Foreign languages.
Corporate Law.
Not that it actually interests me now, but if I could just all the sudden be an expert, then I could be a powerful lawyer, but use my powers for good to help the masses.
A physicist. I am fascinated by physics but a total dunce at it.
The same degree I have now Dental Hygiene.
i’d have my law degree. i’m almost done with my other one so i would feel cheated in a way if i got the degree having done some work but not all.
philosophy
oh and make that international business negotiation between french parent companies and their california wine subsidiaries
English
I have several things I would be interested in. The most practical at the moment would be a masters or doctorate in chemistry or physics. Another area of interest is a masters in engineering or computer science. Still another would be a masters in nutrition or public health. Another diverse area of interest would be forresty or botany or ecology. Sometimes I still ask myself what I want to do when I grow up…..
Oh yeah, a degree in law sounds interesting, too. And I have always been interested in foreign languages.
History because there’s so much to know and it’s interesting. But in reality, literature or philosophy.
International business, finance, politics, and law are all high on my list, too…..
History, especially the history of science and the history of business……
Oh, and theology, although from what I have heard a lot of theology schools are teaching nonsense these days….
engineering of some sort.
i did the psychology thing. didn’t like it as much as i thought i would.
Nurse Midwife
I want a doctorate in music…I do plan on getting one eventually, whenever I finish the two masters degrees that I want and get some real-life experience.
music.
Linguistics… including a basic knowledge of several major languages.
Law. It would be so nice to skip those hellish years of memorizing crap.
Majors: Health Science or Biology
a vet med degree – which is what i’m studying for now!
Forensics, or maybe a language.
Photography
medical doctor
Doctor of Medicine.
Marine biology.
Surgical MD and Music PhD with a concentration in Piano and Percussion Performance
french major?
philosophy…i’m almost halfway there.
and to all you “doctor”s and “md”s, that’s not a major. bio, chem, anatomy…those are possible majors. you don’t major in doctor.
Psychology.
Teaching. Ha.
PHOTO JOURNALISM.
Alright… Now what????
Give the degree to me… PLEASE!!!
Law/Political Science
English Lit.
’nuff said…
Instant as in no work involved in the acquisition of knowledge? Then something that I fail at, like math or physics. If I liked the subject I wouldn’t mind working towards getting the major, and I want to see what it’s like to pwn something I fail at.
Well, it would be lovely if I could have my PhD in psychology so I could be allll finished… but, if we’re talking just a regular bachelor’s here, I’d like to get one in business. That way I don’t have to spend those years studying that boringness, but I’ll have that useful background. That would be a good fallback no matter what. Then I’ll know how to run my firm effectively when I do get my PhD!
philosophy.
I think English or Philosophy, b/c I’m not motivated enuf to actually do it, but I think ppl w/those degrees are really well educated/cultured.
either a PhD in economics or Doctorate in Theology
Law. Law or psych.
Masters in Social Work with child welfare, school social work, and community organizing experience combined with a JD, Political Science, and Public Health. Oh yeah, and Spanish and Hmong so I can communicate with a majority of the population in my area.
fine arts or english literature.
Art History Major or a Doctrate in Theology – either one would take me places.
PhD, English.
Maybe a minor in Women’s studies as well.
That would be incredibly awesome.
I’d be done with school
Philosophy
Law or Econ.
I would be a lawyer.
MD
Something smart, like science. Because so far I’m aiming for a really easy one, Creative Writing… Come on. It doesn’t even sound important or smart.
medical
Hm… degree with ALL the knowledge… wow, there’s gotta be a catch… =P
Career-wise, I think I would still choose Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) but knowledge-wise M.D. also appeals to me but I just don’t like their quality of life (on-calls, 40-80 hour weeks, etc).
Speech Language Pathology, doctorate
PhD in Biotechnology or Microbiology and a masters in Chemistry… But there are a lot of other majors I wouldn’t mind looking into either.
This is a good one and something I had wished I shot for long ago, though at the time I had no clue as to my indepth want in the knowledge. What’s that you ask? Well, okay you did ask. It is forensics, yes I know there are many facets to this field, but I believe I would want to be first on the scene. Take some snap shots, and begin my thoughts into the investigation.
Hmmmm…. I used to say: teacher – because I would love to have summers off. But now I think pediatric oncologist so I can know everything I need to know regarding my son’s health… but also, maybe a scientist, so I can discover the perfect cure for his cancer and all children battling this monster!
Definitely photography!
hmmm probably a doctor but one that can do everything like.
Computer Science.
I’ll take EVERYTHING. Like the ultimate degree or smthin.
I would want to know everything about Child Psychology. I love kids, and would love to be able to help them.
I’d like to go ahead and finish up that education certification (without actually DOING it), with specializations in Special Ed. and ESL (English as a second language). And while we’re handing out stuff for free, I’ll take degrees in theology and psychology too.
I’m cheating: I’d want my MSW, master’s in social work, although i’m not quite done with undergrad school. (I’ve decided not to get a PHD in Psych, mostly because that’s ridiculous)
“Life, the Universe and Everything”
That should just about cover it.
Photography MA and Psychology Ph.D. that way I can have a Ph.D without doing the work. if I don’t like practicing or teaching Psych., I can be a photographer and teach it too.
Linguistics, without a doubt.
early childhood education
A degree in music with a foucus on guitar
Video Game Design^_^
hmmm
Psychology
Internal medicine. OR micobiology
i’d want a masters in fine art… actually maybe not… there’s not really much knowledge that comes with that
Oh my god, film
well im already happy having a bach edu (earlychildhood)… that alone is great considering i neva thawt id end up with one.
otherwise, maybe nursing (like to help with maternal stuff) or psychology/counselling?
or photography? though the industry’s too hard, i reckon
a masters in either biological or chemical engineering or
Computer science
THD, that is a Doctor of Theology
Psychology… Definitely!
