One Night Stand
A story broke about Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell and it was published on a website that she had a one-night stand with a man three years ago.
Apparently they did not even have sex. They were just drunk and shared a bed together (All of this is according to the guy). Here is the link: Link

Honestly I could not care less – as I’ve said many times, what candidates do in their personal lives is completely irrelevant. It doesn’t matter to me one bit whether she slept with this guy or not, nor does it matter whether they had sex. What matters is how incompetent she is; she is in no way qualified to be a Senator, and THAT’S what folks ought to be talking about.
How many of our politicians have not had some sort of sexual or non sexual relationships. She’s awfully young…should we call this a sleep-over? As long as it is not with a foreign dignatory (which might be construed in very poor taste and dangerous at that) I don’t care what they do in their personal lives. What matters is what they do in office. Bill Clinton caught hell over Lewenski…while only a shy wink is given to John Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe (whether it was true or not)…Edward Kennedy and the list goes on and on List Take a quick look at the list….I think you will find it surprising.

You’re right. It wouldn’t be a big thing for most people, but for someone who comes across as “holier than thou” and insists that everyone should be as holy as she is, it is all right to show her hypocrisy. I didn’t realize this was the same person trying to shove religious ideals (and errors) down our throats.
Reading the comments of others, I find that I am not the only one who thought this was just a regular candidate. It doesn’t look like many people caught the hypocrisy aspect as they are thinking it was the natural actions of a regular person who happens to be running for office. Perhaps you should clarify it.
I was thinking that it wasn’t a one night stand without the sex, and that was before I saw your question. But, I don’t think so. People go hang out all the time… Although, it does seem the intent was a one night stand.
