An Obedient Child
The way I remember it, I was an obedient child. I always tried to do what my parents wanted. I never had a huge rebellious streak.
Perhaps my memory is off.
Would your parents describe you as obedient or rebellious?

Depends on who you’d ask. I was obedient to my teachers, but rebellious toward my parents.

Obedient. I once blew a stop sign when I first started to drive, and I kept handing my parents my keys in shame, hoping they’d keep them from me as a form of punishment. They wouldn’t punish me after I kept prodding them to.

I never got into trouble. Sigh.
my parents were fantastic, because they gave me GOOD reasons to follow rules. i don’t think i ever once heard “Because I said so!” it’s hard to rebel against rules when you agree with them.
I was creative in my disobedience. When I did something I did it big, but there weren’t many times. One of those few times was when I put a .38 slug into the family TV.
I learned not to get caught.

HA! Rebellious and it’s not even close. For a long time I took pride in being the black sheep, but it does suck to be one now that I’m older.

My mom said I worked in streaks. I’d be good for a long time and every once in a while my evil twin would come out to play.

Mostly obedient. I could be kind of whiny. The things I did do wrong were pointless stuff like not doing homework and then lying about it. Usually ended up doing it anyway, at the last minute, in tears. Had friends who would get in trouble with the law or get kicked out of school, but I never got into that. I was usually content to hang out in my room and read.

I was/am definitely obedient. I was always called the ‘teacher’s pet’ or ‘goody good”.I never had the desire, or need for more attention, to act out or act in a rebellious manner. Always did what my mom and teachers wanted me to do or asked of me, without question, and without problem.
Even as an adult, nothing’s changed.

its hard to be obedient amidst chaos, but i was a pleaser until the double digits. after that i suppose they’d say i was a horrible child since i didn’t give a crap anymore and did what i felt i needed to do. i’m still not very obedient
my mother never really gave me a reason to rebell, i was an obediant child to her face atleast. but what momma doesnt know wont hurt her xD
Def Obedient. They may not agree with my lifestyle now however, but I was a great kid. hehehe
I was an extremely obedient child, teenager and 20-something. I am an extremely rebellious adult.

VERY REBELLIOUS if it hadn’t been for my fathers belt I would have been even worse though! and if it hadn’t been for the MARINES I would have been in jail by the time i was 21.

I was mostly obedient, but I did have a bit of a rebellious streak.
I don’t think my parents would have a clue… I was obedient.. not that they would have noticed. One would not have noticed, the other did not appreciate.
I was quiet
Mostly obedient. Occasionally I “forgot” to do the dishes or laundry, but I never sneaked out or got my belly-button pierced or anything like that.
I was definitely a rebel. But I am still growing. I could turn everything around and become very obedient. I have never had the “obedient” gene. (;
Both of course, depended what I felt strongly about and also what i knew i could get away with and how far to push when the time was right.
Obedient. I grew up in the day where discipline was not considered abuse. So I was very motivated to be obedient.
I always thought of myself as super rebellious but now that I look back I did everything my parents said hahaha
Only now have I started going completely against what they say sometimes, took me 23 years… lol
My dad said I was the perfect child. No joke. Incidentally I’m the perfect woman now.
