I mentioned the other day that my 6-year-old daughter asked to get her ears pierced and my wife thought that she was ok because she was old enough to ask.
So many agreed thinking that if she was old enough to ask, then it was ok. Others mentioned it was not a big deal because it was just the ears being pierced. That caused me to wonder if people would feel differently if it was a belly ring.

Dear Xanga Uteruses, I received a message from Ampersands_Anonymous and apparently you are all cycling at the same time.

My wife said that our daughter is ready because she said was old enough to say she wanted to get them pierced. I asked my daughter, “You realize it is going to hurt so bad that it will make you cry?” She said, “Yes.” But she still wanted to get the piercings.

A new bill was introduced in New York that would automatically add everyone to the organ donation list. Only 1 out of 10 people are signed up to be organ donors. So thousands of people die without organs.

I mentioned in my last post that a group of people think they found Noah’s Ark.
This got me thinking about the story of Noah’s Ark. According to the Bible, God decided to flood the whole Earth with rain. This killed off the entire population except Noah and his loved ones who spent 120 years building an Ark to protect them from the rain and flooding.
Do you believe the story is true that God flooded the whole Earth and saved only Noah on his Ark?
Chinese and Turkish explorers believe they fave found Noah’s Ark. They found the Ark 13,000 ft in a mountain.

I was just reading the pulse of Slutburder_with_Cheese and he appears to be going through a struggle with a certain issue. He asked, “Ok. Serious question. How old, is too old, to date an 18 year old? Guys AND girls can speak for both sexes.”

I have been on xanga for over 5 years and have run what I would call a “discussion group” during that time.
I would like to make an observation of something I have noticed during the last 5 years. I have noticed that people feel a strong need to have the last word. People can give their opinion. But if someone disagrees with them, they want to have the last word.
In fact, I tend to believe that a competitive nature is the basis for most of the arguments, drama and flame wars on xanga. People want to have the last word.
People tell me all the time that they could never run a site like my site because they would feel the urge to jump into the discussion instead of just sitting back and listening.
