  • Taliban

Mohammed Halim was killed by the Taliban.  He was taken out of his house in front of his wife and children.  He was part-disembowelled.  He was then “torn apart with his arms and legs tied to motorbikes.”

    What was his crime?

He was a teacher and he was educating girls.  Here is the link:  Link

What is your favorite TV show to watch in reruns?

  • Vagina Monologues

Britney Spears has her crotch displayed all over the internet.

Her naked private parts have been making the rounds the last few days.  When I first saw the pictures, I thought they were fake.  She wasn’t wearing any underwear under her dress.  Here is a link to an article with no pics of the crotch:  Link

Then I thought to myself, “Why would a photographer be in that position?”  You can find the pictures in multiple places if you have any ambition at all.  You can see her C-section scar too by the way.

I hear people saying that Britney did this as a publicity stunt.  I have such a hard time buying that when she is already so popular.  In fact, she couldn’t possibly want to have herself displayed this way.  She is already in the news all the time.  I don’t see how this would be good for her.

Do you think Britney Spears would do this on purpose?

  • Hottest Animated Disney Women

Fanpop.com listed the “Top 10 Hottest Animated Disney Women.”

I knew of a guy years ago who used to always talk about the character Ariel and how he thought she was hot.  Here is the link:  Link

Is it creepy to anyone else that someone thinks an animated Disney woman is hot?

  • Beer and Clergy

I remember a few years back visiting a restaurant and watching as a pastor ordered and then drank a beer.  It struck me as unusual.

Would it bother you to see your pastor or priest drinking a beer?

  • Gun Control Part 4

A survey was recently conducted of prison inmates.  In the survey, 80% of the inmates said they got their gun from a “family friend, a street buy or other illegal source.”  Only 12 % got their guns from a store or pawn shop.  Only 2% got their gun from a flea market.

In other words, 80% would not have been impacted by any gun control law.  Here is the link

Do gun control laws just take the guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens?

  • Youtube

Youtube has been in the news today because of “How To” guides of certain illegal activity.

Apparently Fox News did a basic search and found videos showing instructions for “breaking into that house, stealing the car, driving off without paying for gas, and even scamming a Big Mac.” (Apparently still no instructions on how to email in a post without yahoo advertisement showing up).

Youtube has an explanation to this report:  “Please note that our community controls the content on the site and they’re the ones (not us) who flag content they deem inappropriate.”  Here is the link:  Link

Is there anything that youtube, xanga and myspace can do to really control the content that is posted on their sites?

  • E-Cards

We are getting to the time of the year when we can reflect on the birth of Jesus, spend time with family, and spam our friends with e-cards.  I was messaging back and forth with flodge01.  He brought to my attention the issue of e-cards.

I guess e-cards have never made me feel special.  They just have all the feel of a bulk message.

Christmas e-cards, annoying spam or appreciated gift?

  • Panty Hose

I was watching the Today Show the other day and they had an interesting topic.  They had a lady walk down the street with her skirt tucked into her panty hose.  They were seeing how many people would bring it to her attention.  The funny thing is that most people noticed it but wouldn’t bring it to her attention.

We all think we would instinctively share the information.  But it feels awkward to point it out.  I have a person that I work with who had a dried up booger hanging out of his nose.  It was distracting to even look at him.  But I couldn’t bring myself to say anything.

If you saw a woman with her skirt tucked into her panty hose walking down the street, would you point it out to her?
