Who would you call in your time of need.  Say you just had a close friend or relative die.  Who do you think to call?  Imagine your car breaks down and you are stranded.

Who can you call in your moment of need?

They were talking on the radio today about a recent survey that showed 12% of men doubted they were the real father of their child and 10% of women doubted who the father was with at least one of their children.

So they were talking on the radio about whether a woman should tell her child if she thought the child had another father. 

One line of argument was that it was going to mess up the child if the child found out that their father was not their real father.

Another line of argument is that a child deserves to know the real father just in case there are medical issues that may come up that need to be treated.

Does a child deserve to know who is his/her real father?

So I let my son drive tonight. 

He is 18.  My parents let me get my permit when I was 15 and then I received my driver’s license when I was 16.   I did not let my son get his permit because I just didn’t feel he was ready.  So I was finally going to let him get his permit after he took driver’s ed.  I was going to sign him up today.

He told me he did not need driver’s ed. He already knew how to drive.  So I let him drive tonight and it is obvious that he has already driven a few hundred times.

It really went pretty well.

It is odd to me every time I hear people say that people don’t support President Obama because he is black.

Then you have Samuel Jackson saying recently that he voted for President Obama because he was black.  Here is the link:  Link

The unemployment rate for black Americans is 16%.  I guess they can still support him for the food stamps.  12% of the population is black yet they get 28% of the food stamps.  Here is the link:  Link

People say that blacks support President Obama because of his policies not because he is black.  But their unemployment rate is 16%.

So my wife and I were watching the Grammys and we watched as the Beach Boys performed.

We were pretty sure one of them was going to fall over dead on stage. Their average age was 70.

My wife mentioned that she never liked the music of the Beach Boys.

I told her I thought the Beatles were overrated.

It is hard for these old people to compete with people like Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne.

Help me out with a discussion I am having with a friend.  The discussion really revolves around whether there is something defective about people with depression and whether they should be discouraged or encouraged to know there is something wrong with them.

Is depression a mental illness?
                                
                                              

Like most conservative Christians, I am confronted with another election and I need to vote for the person who is consistent with the Bible.

So I must look at all the candidates in light of this:

1.  Newt Gingrich:  Newt wanted his ex wife to participate in a threesome with the woman he went on to marry after he divorced her.  The Bible is pretty clear about us putting someone who is guilty of adultery to death in Leviticus 20:10.

2.  Mitt Romney:  Mitt is a Mormon and he believes in a lie.  He believes that Jesus was deity but he clearly does not believe that Jesus is God.  In other words, he is a false teacher and he is picking the broad road to hell.

3.  President Obama:  President Obama believes that Jesus is God and has asked Jesus into his heart.

I hope the choice for the conservative Christian is obvious.
