  • Women Better Off Without Bras

    A recent study found that women would be better off without bras.

    It was a 15 year study and they found that wearing a bra "does nothing to reduce back pain" and they found that bras actually cause an increase in breast sagging.  Here is the link:  Link

  • Letting Your Child Win

    The other day I was playing connect the dots with my 9 year old.

    I did not play easy on her.  I figured she would learn if I played my best against her.
    I coached chess competitively for a few years.  I would not let up on my boys when they were 4 and 5 years old.  One of my boys ranked nationally in his age group.  One of my sons won a state championship at a very early age.
    When I play basketball against my sons, I try to win.  
    Should a parent go easy on their child while playing a game?

    I have read posts on xanga where people were thinking about their ex years after they were married.

  • Tired After Sex

    Firetyger asked on her site what people did to fall asleep at night.  I mentioned "sex."  

    She mentioned that sex energized her which is what happens to my wife.
    Perhaps men just get tired and women get energized by sex.

  • Plan B For 13 Year Olds

    A federal judge has ordered that the morning-after pill be made available for all women of any age.  This would include girls under 17.  Here is the link:  Link
     
    A 13 year old girl would be able to walk into a store and get Plan B without a prescription.

  • I Need a Degree To Work at McDonald's

    A McDonald's job posting received some attention when it required a college degree in order for the applicant to get hired as a cashier.

  • Gay By Choice or By Birth?

    Recently a group of people were sitting around and one person said that they believed that people were gay by choice.  Another suggested that people were born gay.

    The person that thought people were gay by choice said that most people that were gay had tough childhoods and were often molested as children.

  • Break a Leg

    Basketball player Kevin Ware broke his leg in half on national TV.

    It protruded through the leg.  You could see other basketball players looking the other way and crying.
    In eight grade, I broke a kid's leg in half while playing football.  I sat there with him and looked at it until help arrived.  But here you had college age basketball players looking the other way and walking away from their teammate.
    If someone broke his/her leg in half, would you look the other way?
